“Al open the door! Alice!”

Alice growled hating waking up like this,
“Yea yeah I hear ya! … oh whoa” she noticed the beauty fitting perfectly in her arms, she didn’t wanted to get up nor to wake up Shane.
finally she managed to get at the door
Knock Knock
she opened the door and looked at Dana
“Christ dane it’s only..” she looked at the left seeing the clock “12pm!!.. oh *****… okay come in”
“Good afternoon yourself”
“Hey” Alice said still half asleep
“So what you doin here?” her voice a bit harsh
“Geez having trouble with waking up early or something? I was just looking how Shane’s doing and you”
“Sorry..” Dana nodded she knew Alice wasn’t a morning person as was Shane who was still sleeping.
“Shes doing better now i think and I’m okay” a small smile appeared.
She followed Alice to the livingroom seeing Shane sleeping on the couch, her wild long hair was short now but tho it was.. well wild.. it looked like she was sleeping peacefully, a bit too much…
“ah I get it and I smell it geez.. you two and weed” Dana shook her head
“Whaaat? yeah okay well she needed it, we both did and look at her it worked” both smiled looking at their friend

“well it didn’t worked for you, you look like *****”
“Thanks Dane..”
“No problem” Dana said grinning she added “so can you please tell me the whole story now?”
“Yeah in the kitchen”

As Alice told all she knew about the horrible Jaffe thing, the cop, the hospital and Shane, Dana took a deep breath, took a sip of the coffee as she realized what had happened to her friend , dana knew not much from Shane’s life on the street but she knew it has made her the way she was now. All of her friends were used to it cause they didn’t know how shane was before all this. She was affraid her friend would become colder after last night, the raven beauty was already as closed as a book about herself.

Both didn’t said anything for a few minutes till the sporty babe asked
“Okay i understand Shane’s situation now but what’s up with you Al? you look pale and you don’t talk much like you..well always do” Dana chuckled
Alice shot her a look then said
“I just didn’t sleeped much last night constantly checking if Shane was sleeping,” Dana was about to say something when Alice became well… Alice again. “you know she looks gorgeous when she is sleeping even tho she has that scar right above her left eyebrow now which you can’t see because her hair is in front of her eyes oh her eyes make her so *****…plus her body” Alice trailed off then continued “but anyway she has that caring look on her face when she sleeps it’s likes she’s thinking of all kinda stuff oh and her mouth.. Alice trailed off again and Dana saw her chance to cut her off

“Riggggghhhhhhttt… Al” Alice snapped back on earth and knew what Dana was thinking so she changed the subject
“Yeah so.. more coffee? and how you doing?” Dana shook her head
“What? no coffee?”
“Well yeah but you still haven’t told her huh?”
“Please Dane not now i’m confused and I think i’m still high which is gooooooood” the brunette just nodded thinking her friend was in love big time..

They heard growling in the livingroom and soft moans, it came closer till the dark figure was in the kitchen with eyes half open
a small smile appeared when she saw her friends “Morning guys” the husky voice spoke, her voice was even heavier in the morning which made Alice hung her head low not facing Shane, thinking she looked awesome with the just out of bed look altho she had some scars and wounds.
“Goodmorning Shane” Dana said smiling
“Right.. morning” the blonde softly said, looked up and added: “you feeling any better? and your ribs?”
“yeah am okay, my ribs still hurt like *****”
“Time heals” Dana said
“Here we go again the shy and always the last to know tennisplayer becomes Yoda again” Dana shot a look at the reporter, Shane laughed, loving to have these two around here in times like these when she didn’t wanted to think about the bad *****.

1 hour later

Dana left 20minutes ago and Shane was on the couch again, eating some bread while watching T.V.
“All right Shane you sure you be okay for 20minutes? if you need anything just.. Shane cut her off
“Go take a shower Al”
“You sure?” She asked almost scared to leave her alone.
“Yeah you stink” Shane said before laughing hard.
“***** you Shane” her eyes giving the almost pissed look.
“Well come and get me” She playfully added.
“Aaarghh” and the blonde headed to the shower trying to get that thought out of her head.

As Alice was taking a shower while singing loud as usual Shane was searching for her cigs. When she couldn’t find them she walked towards the shower, maybe Alice knew where they were.
Seeing the door was open, she took another step and through the steam from the hot water she could see her friend, the blonde hair soaking wet, water and soap streaming down her full *****, both hands running through her hair, and her eyes closed humming along on the song she was singing 5min before.
Shane sighed continued watching but then quickly turned around shaking her head as she remembered that long long night at her Housewarming Party,
‘no no no not going there again no way’ was her thought. Finally she found her cigs and sank down on the couch, took one in her mouth, lit it up, took a long drag and closed her eyes.
