GUNG HO MISSION – PROLOGUE

My name is Alice Pieszecki and Im about to tell you the story of an incredible journey of a handful of women who helped in saving a wonderful planet called Earth.

Everything started in March 2343 when an unknown civilization from outer space came knocking on Earths door. The US government, and many others, welcomed the strangers with open arms, which was not very surprising considering the human race had spent centuries exploring the galaxy in search of other lifeforms. The Nhakashians expressed their gratitude by sharing a lot of their scientific discoveries with us and in return we let them in on some of our secrets. Things were good until they declared war on us. We should have known that it was too good to be true. The army together with NASA tried to fend them off as best they could but they were well out of their league. Each time the Nhakashi came back stronger and more determined. Two years into the battle there still didnt seem to be an end to this war And there wouldnt have been if I hadnt discovered what I did…

So this is the story of the women who helped me to discover the truth.

It was a very warm Friday for that last week of training for the selection of the crew members for the Second Earth Mission. A lot of people were there with the same dream, the same hope: to be selected for that very important mission. Only the best ones would be selected and there werent a lot of places to be filled. Only two. The pilots and the electronic engineers. Every other place had already been filled with experienced and skilled individuals. With young men and women who already had gone on space missions for the International Space Agency.

Kit Porter was in charge of the selection team and already had her eye on two applicants. Today was the last day and she still had to convince two persons on the team that her choice was the best. She was just hoping that the two women would be able to get through the day without any major problems.
