Bette drove us to Miguels the next morning to pick up my car from last night. I stayed over at Bettes as it was already too late to go back to my apartment and NO, we didnt do anything. Bette was quite a woman. She let me take her bed and she insisted I take it. She slept on the couch however much I asked her to share the bed with me. My first thought was why didnt she want to share the bed with me? Doesnt she like me that much? Then I thought about it, maybe she just couldnt control herself around me.

Bette: So Ill pick you up later around noon? So thatll give us another three hours?

Tina: Yeah thatd be great Bette.

I waived at Bette as she drove off. I entered my apartment unaware of the huge smile I was wearing until I saw myself in the mirror. I look so much healthier than the last few days. Bette really has a way with me. I dropped my bag on the couch and threw myself next to it. As I closed my eyes last nights kiss came back to me. That kiss! After I told Bette that I wanted to try US, her face lit up and she flashed me her smile. She was so happy she hugged me.

Bette: You mean?

Tina: Yes, I mean!

Bette pulled me into a hug and whispered to my ears

Bette: You dont know how long Ive been wanting to hold you like this.

Tina: Believe me Bette, Im already falling for you.

Bette: Im so happy to hear that Tina, so very happy.

My thoughts of last night was interrupted by a shrilling sound of the phone. I walked over and picked up the receiver

Tina: Hello?

Bette: Hi there.

Tina: Hey. Where are you?

Bette: Im still on my way home. Will get there any minute now. What are you up to?

Tina: Nothing just (yawning) relaxing.

Bette: Haha I could hear that. Maybe we can have that meal a little bit later? You might want to rest a while

Tina: You sure? Cos I really wanna see you

Bette: Yeah me too.

Both of us fell silent. I wanted so much to see Bette again. Although the event at Miguels last night didnt go exactly as planned, we managed to have a good time, just the two of us together at Bettes.

Bette: Ummm Tina?

Tina: Yeah?

Bette: I know I just left your apartment but what do you say we have an early lunch? I really want to see you

Tina: God Bette, I thought I wouldve to wait hours! Yes!!!! Pick me up soon ok?

Bette: Ok will be there in less than an hour! Bye!

I hung up and headed for the shower. Today will be a great day; a new day, a new life and a new start.
