    A call to action and a plan put into motion…

    All the girls were lost in conversation, Dana and Shane had been filled in on the plan and were as excited as Alice was.

    “Oh my god Tina, I still can’t believe it…. it’s amazing” Dana exclaimed

    “It’s just too ***** cute” Shane said

    “Ok, ok let’s get back to the plan guys. We gotta make this perfect. So, Tina when were you thinking of going?

    “Um well I’m not sure, I was thinking of going just before Christmas and then coming back to spend Christmas with you guys…. her family, my new family if that’s ok”

    “Oh of course it’s ok, it sounds perfect. Ok so now we gotta try and think of how we’re going to get Bette out of the office. I’ll call James and see if we can get her schedule cleared for….” Alice looked at Tina for a time frame

    “Well you need about 2 or 3 weeks, a month would be better but Bette can’t take that much time off work…. can she?”

    “Well we’ll talk to James and see what we can do…. next we’ve gotta organize clothes don’t we? I mean I don’t think her power suits and Jimmy Choo’s are the appropriate attire are they now?

    “No they’re not Al…. we gotta get her some safari gear, shorts and tops too. It’ll be hot as *****…. oh and we gotta get her a ***** bikini for the boat!” Tina said giggling at Al’s comment and excited at the thought of her Bette in a ***** little bikini

    “Boat?” All three women chorused

    “Ya, I want to take Bette to Kariba. It’s a man made dam but when you’re in the middle of it it’s like you’re in the middle of the ocean. It’s water as far as the eye can see. You fall asleep under the stars to the sounds of hippo’s and the other wildlife…. there are no other sounds except those that you make and the gentle hum of the engine.”

    “Wow…. ok bikini, check! Next we need to plan how to keep this a secret from one Miss Bette Porter, that’ll be the hard part!” Alice said, a frown creasing her brow as she contemplated her own question.
