    Bette & Tina’s 2nd Semester Begins
    (B&T Beginning Set on College Campus – SEQUEL to THE ROOMMATES)

    Bette Porter and Tina Kennard had endured significant trials and triumphs in the past few months. In a span of weeks they had moved from being roommates, to friends, to lovers, to best friends, to girlfriends, and finally through the unique combination of all of these levels of relationships and experiences, they had come to exist in a world beyond walls, rules, and reason where only soul mates could survive.

    They lay there in each others arms, getting lost in each others eyes. A slight fear of the intensity in their unique connection slithered around, lurking in both light and dark brown orbs. As their breathing evened out and lust transformed into comfort, it was apparent to both women that their union was deep and soul-stirring. Despite their trepidation, a blonde head rested on a strong caramel shoulder, both understanding that there were many challenges ahead, but nevertheless ready to explore this new dimension in their young lives.

    Two months had passed since Bette Porter and Tina Kennard had been able to move beyond the external barriers to their union. Eric Anderson, Sidney Davis, a false pregnancy, infidelity, emotional baggage, and Mother Nature had all played a role in keeping these two young women apart. In the time that had elapsed, Bette had regained her old confidence, leaving most of her emotional baggage and insecurities behind. After spending a loving week wrapped in each others embrace at the Porter compound, Tina had returned to her homophobic ancestral home. Despite the prejudiced and hateful comments shed been subjected to, Tinas heart never betrayed her love for Bette and even in their separation, their bond continued to grow. Every night, they fell asleep, listening to the sweet, soothing timber in each others voice. Every morning, they started the day by wishing each other well, a subtle reminder that no matter the days obstacles, each woman had an unwavering support system waiting at the other end of the phone.

    Having developed such a strong connection to what she truly believed was her soul mate; Bette loathed to be kept away from Tina by the trivial nuances of life. And so, it was with an undercurrent of bitter disdain that Bette scowled at the pile of paper work spread out before her and sighed heavily.

Is Tina embarassed to go or she doesn’t want people to know of her sexual preference? People know that Bette and her are a couple already so what’s the prob other than her prejudice family?
