Tina left the CAC, and took a cab home…wondering all the way there what she was going to do….’*****, I can’t believe that she would even think I would do that to her…I have given her 7 years of my life…my whole life…my everything, and in one instant she would think this of me….’dammit.’ She arrived home and sat alone by the pool with all of the lights off waiting for Bette to make it there…
At 3am, still no Bette…Tina began to worry…so, she picked up the phone and dialed Bette’s cell number…”Hello?” answered Bette…through the sniffles..
“Bette, baby please come home so that you can atleast rest well.”
“I can’t..”
“Alright Bette, I have let you stop me from saying alot, but not now…not this time….You either come home or I am coming there….that’s your choice…here or there?” said Tina hastily..
There was a minute of silence between the two….and finally Bette spoke, “T, how could you do this to me?”
“I didn’t do anything….baby…I swear…please just come home and we can talk…someone else wrote that letter…it wasnt me…please….”
Silence again…………….
“I ca…”
“No…dammit Bette you are coming home…I am coming to get you right now….”
“Tina, don’t….I am not ready…”
“I don’t ***** care…I will be there in 10 minutes so you’d better be ready…” click…
“Tina…..Tina….” said Bette to no avail…there was noone else on the line…She slowly leaned the phone from her ear and placed it on the floor next to the couch…
Tina was out of the house in a little less than 5 minutes..and on her way to the CAC.

Upon arriving, she walked in and up to Bette’s office….
Bette was sitting on the couch with her face in her hands sobbing….Tina slowly walked over to her….”Bette..” she whispered…Bette said nothing.
“Bette, baby…I love you….” she said as she leaned down onto her knees in front of her wife..she pulled Bette’s hands away from her face and into her own hands…”Did you hear me Bette? I said that I love you….”
“I heard you T.” said Bette as she looked into Tina’s eyes….”But, I just don’t understand why you would do this to me…”
“I didn’t do anything baby, I swear…someone else wrote that letter…did you ask anyone if they saw the person that handed it to you?”
“No..” said Bette…”I just opened it and read it…then made my way here to be alone…”
“If you didnt write it, then who did and why would they do this?”
“I don’t know B, but I have that on top of my list now….find out who did this and take ‘em down…”
“Now,come on…let’s go home…so that u can sleep…k?” said Tina as she pulled Bette to her feet and grabbed her things…They left and went home….
