    You came back!!!!!! ch.4

After what seemed to be and eternity Alice gathered Bette up in her arms and helped her into the house. When they entered the house Bette told Alice she just needed time alone. She needed to get her head straight. After she convinced Alice she would be okay, Alice left with a very uneasy feeling. Bette went about her business doing housework. Even though she hated housework anything to keep her mind off of Tina would help. When Bette finally got around to making dinner she unknowingly made one of Tina’s favorites, She also out of habit made enough food for two.

Once Bette realized this she just broke down into tears. This feeling is never going to go away she kept thinking to herself. With this in mind she lost her appetite. So she skipped dinner and went straight into her bedroom, once she closed the door she sat on the bed and started looking through old pictures. As she was looking through these old pictures of her and Tina, she started remembering the most important parts of her life that she so easily forgot.

She remembered the first time she laid eyes on Tina. There first kiss, Their first date, the first time she made love to her and the look in Tina’s eyes. She remembered the first time she told her she loved her, and how little she started saying it through out the years. She remembered their wedding. Then she remembered the night Tina disappeared!

    Flashback (2 years ago):

After weeks of talking and persuading, Tina had finally agreed to move back in with Bette. She was almost completely settled back into their house, except a couple boxes still in her old apartment. She had to have the apartment completely emptied by the next day so that new tenants could move in, so she had to go get them today. After promising Bette she would only be gone for about 45 minutes, She walked out the door and never came back.

The night of Tina’s disappearance it was raining really badly, so the roads where really slick. The police told Bette that it looked as if when Tina was coming around the bend she lost control of her car due to the water flooding in the street. They said when she lost control she drove off the road and through a guarder that was posted so cars don’t go off the cliff. When her car hit the guarder the front end went right through it causing the vehicle to dangle over the edge. When the police found Tina’s car, she was no longer there. The only explanation that they could come up with is that she fell out of the car over the cliff.

    Present day:

Bette snapped back to reality, she realized that she couldn’t handle the thousands of emotions running through her body. She got up and walked to the liquor cabinet and pulled out a bottle of vodka and a tall glass. She then walked back to the bedroom and sat at the desk. She then began to fill her glass to the top with straight vodka. As she drowned her pain with liquor, she began to write a poem in an attempt to try and find some form of closure.

    Tonight

By the time Bette finished this poem she had finished her drink and started feeling really sleepy. So she got up and lay down on the bed, once again to be haunted by memories, and a future she will never be shared with her Tina. Her tears where soon followed by a very uneasy sleep.

Three hours had past since Bette had fallen asleep and as she laid there in bed someone else stirred about the house. Upon hearing the noises around her house Bette awoke from her sleep. The bedroom door slowly opened and footsteps where heard coming into the room. Bette felt someone sit on the bed so she turned over to see whom it was. Upon seeing the mystery person, bette’s face flushed and the only words she could manage to get out where spoke just above a whisper

    Bette: You came back!!!!!!

    1. How could a parent or parents be so cruel and narrow minded to manipulate their own child like that? If that had ever happened to me, I would disown them, I would change my name to Porter and claim myself an orphan. The saving grace is….true love always finds a way. Good Job!….Can’t wait for the next chapter.

    2. Please let it be Tina and NOT Alice; considering when she leave Bette there, she left feeling “uneasy.”

You must continue; Tina’s disappearance must be explained.

    3. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PLEASE CONTINUE….ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
