    Dancin’ Fools

Dana had just won a big tournament, and all of her friends were throwing her a big party at The Planet to celebrate.  Everyone but Alice, that is.  Unfortunately, Alice was out of town at a meeting with the head of the radio station.  The station wanted to increase the airings of her show, which excited Alice, but she was unhappy that she had to be in Santa Barbara during Dana’s party.

She was no unhappier about it than Dana, who was dealing with it by consuming copious amounts of alcohol.  And because poor Dana didn’t drink much due to her training, the alcohol was hitting her hard.  Her friends stood off to the side observing her.

“Well, I guess she deserves to celebrate,” Tina said lamely.

“Please.  She’s not celebrating.  She’s practically mourning,” Shane snorted.

    “Poor Dana,” Jenny added.

Bette took a sip of her own drink.  “It really is too bad.  Alice really wanted to be here.”

“Should we cut her off?” Kit asked worriedly as she joined them.

Shane watched Dana a moment and then turned back to Kit.  “I think she’s okay.  We shouldn’t get worried unless she starts doing that ridiculous booty dance.”

Tina groaned.  “Oh God, the Dana booty dance.  How could I forget that?”

“The what?” Kit asked, looking confused.

“The last time Dana was really upset and started drinking, she started doing this hilarious dance where she shook her ***** around and rubbed her hands all over it,” Bette explained.

“You’d know it if you saw it,” Shane put in.  “And last time it happened, she started puking over the side of a boat.”

“Um,” Carmen began, standing on her tiptoes to look over Shane’s shoulder.  “Does it look something like that?”

They all turned to see Dana wildly whipping her hair around while writhing about, her hands sweeping across her ***** as she shook it from side to side.

“Oh no,” Bette groaned, covering her face with her hands.

    Tina sighed.  “I can’t look.”

“That would be the one,” Shane confirmed, laughing.

“You go, then, Miss Dana,” Kit said, chuckling.

“Wow,” was all Jenny could say, her eyes wide.

“We’d better get her home,” Shane decided.

Carmen frowned.  “But it’s her celebration.  Is it really fair to make her leave?”
