Dana took a seat by the bed and started her line of questioning. She was determined to get Kristen to tell her everything about what happened while she was gone. The working with Roxy really threw her. At first she wasn’t sure that she wanted to butt into Kristen’s personal matters but since learning about Roxy as her partner, how could she not. Then there was the sudden change of heart concerning Alice… she was really coming down on her, but what was her reasoning for that?
Dana – So how are you…. physically speaking.
Kristen – Well I had internal bleeding so they had to operate.
Dana – Yeah I can imagine you’ll be sore for awhile. What’s with the bandaging around your shoulder area?
Kristen – Oh that…. I got speared by a stake off the worker’s trailer. The guy ran through the intersection and hit me head on… the trailer apparently jackknifed and everything went flying.
Dana – Oh God Kristen, I’m so sorry.
Kristen – It will be ok. I just need to go through some physical therapy.
Dana – How long will you be in the hospital for?
Kristen – I don’t know yet.
Dana – Where is your family?
Kristen – My sister was here.
Dana – I was referring to your husband and your kids.
Kristen – Well my kids are too young to be coming to see me here.
Dana – And your husband?
Kristen – What is with all the questions?
Dana – I’m curious. Why are you dodging that question? You didn’t seem to mind answering the other ones.
Kristen – Am I?
Dana – Seems like it to me. You might as well tell me whats going on, I’m going to find out.
Kristen – Fine…. Derek cheated on me. There, I said it… are you happy now?
Dana – Oh…
Kristen – This is the second time… and with the same woman.
Dana – I’m sorry.
Kristen – Not as sorry as I am for giving him a second chance. I never thought it could happen again. I should’ve known better.
Dana – How could you know?
Kristen – God.. I feel so stupid.
Dana – Don’t beat yourself up about it. How did you find out?

hey it looks like dana wasn’t too drunk to forget that she asked alice to stay. good to know she still has a soft spot for alice. man if only dana kept going w/ her train of thought about roxy always being near when bad things happen. then kristen could play games w/ roxy too. thanks for the chappy.
She definitely still has a soft spot for Alice. As long as Dana never has to see Roxy again, maybe she can come to forgive Alice. Hmmm – how likely is it that she won’t have to deal with Roxy anymore? You can’t fault me for trying. lolWhat’s going on with Tony? Will he be back soon? Will he still have the hots for Alice?
So you live for my amusement? I wish I knew that sooner. As for my weaknesses … I’m certainly not revealing too much. I’m sure it’s not a far stretch that I’m not a patient person. As for me swearing at you … well I’m glad to hear that you enjoy it. I liked this chapter … despite all your claims of angst … I do believe you are a softy at heart … or at least a softy for Danish.
Great chapter, I wasn’t in the best mood but this made a crappy weekend better. I liked the direction you took the Alice and Roxy scene I was wondering how you would spin it and I must say that you took it bigger and better than I could have imagined. I love drunk Dana, she was sexy and sloppy and everything I wish I was while drunk. I can’t wait for the next chapter, I know you have something great planned, you always do whether you find it on the day you post or weeks before you always get a burst of inspiration that I can’t seem to always find. The chapter was amazing but that’s not out of the ordinary post soon love you

After re-reading this chapter … I still think you’re a bit of a Danish softy … but you’re still a damn tease! Now I’m eagarly awaiting the next chapter & forthcoming Halloween installment. Keep up the good writing!
This was a a really great chapter in my opinion. Alice was very smart and strong to deny Dana while she was drunk, and them waking up together will surely be an interesting moment. They belong together, completely. You’re doing a great job and I thought I’d comment and let you know that because I can’t seem to catch you these days. Things are blah but I’m thinking of you and hoping that you’re alright and happy. I miss you. Well, anyways, it was a great chapter and I can’t wait to see the next one. This story..wow it’s been so long..seems like just yesterday you started it. My how the time flies. Talk to you soon I hope, I hope you’re smiling darling.
Wonderful chapter:-)))) I liked the way Alice talked to Roxy but still I don’t think Roxy will give up hitting on Alice. Although you said that you didn’t write that much this time (which is of course not true, lol) I have been really caught. Especially our drunken Dana. I should try this, too, lol. But, will it have the same effect? I’m not pretty sure about this. The end surprised me a little. First, I imagined that Dana would be pissed off to find Alice in bed the next morning but to my surprise she loved it. So do I!!!!! Dana is your favorite????? Hmmmmm, how about we share her? lol Yeah, she’s definitely HOT!!!! You have me curious how the story will go on. I can’t never preview what will happen next. That’s the point, right? lol If I had to guess I would say that Alice and Dana will still have a hard time to get any further though it looked positive in this chapter. And as far as I know your writing style there will be many obstacles (and I love this!!!). So, what about Roxy? What could her great secret be? Perhaps she was a man? lol No, I’m just kidding:-) But maybe she really is a member of the Gambinos and she doesn’t know that. Now I could come up with thousands of theories and no one would be the right one. Damn!! But I’m patient:-) Oh, I almost forgot. Dana engaged this detective. Will he find out more about Roxy-Foxy? I hope so. So please, we need some bad news about her, lol. And yes, of course I will tell you how to put this here “²” up, lol. But this in private on our date, lol. When I read right you’re not very skilled on computers but on anything else???? No teasing, please, just tell me where you’re really good at (besides writing), lol. I need more details, lol. At last!!, Alice stopped to think for a change and didnt let Roxy manipulate her..a glimmer towards recovery perhaps? Oh my, could it get any worse for Dana…Roxy putting the “taste” in women visual into her head was so,so baad. It was like sticking a knife through her heart and Roxy really is the lowest!yuk. Well anyone can understand why Dana is drunk after that, and i love that Alice went to Dana and she knew that Alice would come!!. I really love how tense things can get with Danish and a horny, drunk Dana is very nice but i am really glad that Alice kept her cool and stopped it.. a good insight into her state of mind at present!! Dana blinking her eyes open and seeing Alice made us all go awww, but i have a feeling that the morning after wont be so sweet…well you are an expert at leading us down so many paths arent you? Oh and while we are there mines a red wine, cheers lol..whats yours? I like promises and flattery too!! Great chapter, i know it can only get better…post soon, thanks.
Glad to see you updated. Loved this chapter even if it may not always be easy to write!! I loved how Alice stood up to Roxy in front of Dana that was important to me. And also Dana still having to hots for Alice even when she is drunk and as you probably know drunks and children tell the truth. You definatly left me wondering about the morning after..are you kidding me!! I’m in the process of re-reading the entire story I’m currently at chapter 30. It has grown so much over the past year…and you still leave me wanting so much more..nice that you keep delivering!! Really looking forward to the Halloween installment..Thank you Brteyes for making my monday a little better. Post soon.
Wow, you can consider me still on cloud nine (ok maybe eight ;)). You do realize that Danish is going quite well? I’m with PH, you’re a softy when it comesto Danish. :P And for the following reasons (which others also pointed out already): 1) Dana walked in on Alice turning Roxy down. 2) Dana did let Alice drive her home. 3) Some hot drunken Dana-action (good thing Alice was strong…I think I would have caved in ;)). 4) Dana smiled when Alice was lying next to her. At all of these points you could have chosen the worst way…but you didn’t. Yay! :DBut…I also don’t trust you to let Danish off the hook for long… :S And yeah, the graphic things I see from Lara pumpkin’s head I can only express in dutch. But I’m 100% sure you’ve got an mental image already. :D
Dana and Alice seem to take two steps back and one step forward. Since Alice is staying with Bette and Tina maybe they can help come up with a more affective way to tell Roxy ‘to step off bitch’. As long as you kept writing, I’ll be reading. PPS
