James: So how’s Tina and Tessa…
Bette: the same as last night when we all had dinner…
James: I mean… how did it feel to leave this morning…
Bette: I wanted to call in sick…
James: I bet you did… (Getting a page)… I’ll be right back… I have to take this call…
Franklyn also left the conference room… and soon James and Franklyn were back…
Franklyn: Bette… I know you just got back and normally I wouldn’t ask this of you…
James: Helena just called… it seems Patrick left before their appointment and left her a message…
Franklyn: He went back to his home… and wants Helena to go there… this way she can see his work…
Bette: Ok… so what does this have to do with me…
James: He also wants you to join her… if you don’t… he told Helena don’t waste the trip…

Bette: I don’t fucking believe this… what I’m back less then 2 hours…
Franklyn: Bette… we wouldn’t ask this…
James: You of all people know how important it is to get him here… he turned down every Museum and Gallery all over the States…
Bette: I know… it’s just this is my first day back… and well I… never mind… make the arrangements…
Franklyn: Go home and talk to Tina… James will get back to you with the information…
James gets another page…
James: Bette… its Helena… she wants to talk to you…
Bette talks to Helena then was on her way home… Walking into the house… Tina was feeding Tessa… she looked at her watch…
Tina: Wow… 2 hours… what did you do quit or get fired…
Bette: Neither… but I would welcome anyone of those 2 choices…
Tina: Here sit and tell me what’s going on…

Tina just stared at Bette… not saying a word…
Bette: Baby please say something…
Tina: Bette… I know this is your job… hell my job sends me away at time too… its just I didn’t think it would be so soon after Tessa was born…
