    Sales Meeting           

    Tina’s perfectly manicured toes sunk into the plush carpeting as she paced the length of the living room once more.  She hadn’t noticed the sun beginning to rise, her mind was totally focused on the script before her. 

    “This is so damn good,” Tina gushed as she turned another page and began to read the remaining part of the script.  “I have to pitch this to Aaron first thing.”

    Bette rubbed her eyes as she stumbled into the hallway leading to the living room.  Her eyes struggled to focus as Tina’s voice registered in her head.  She placed her hand on the wall to steady herself before heading toward the sound of her lover’s voice.

    “Oh my god.”  Bette stared at Tina, puzzled as her hand flew to her mouth and she frantically turned the page once more.  Tina gracefully pivoted on the carpet, heading back toward Bette, unaware of her audience.

    Bette crossed her arms over her chest, seductively smiling at the sight before her.  Tina had obviously gotten up in the middle of the night and opted for the first article of clothing she could locate in the dark.  The sleeves of the well-worn, oversized men’s white dress shirt were rolled up to reveal the creamy skin of her forearms.  The shirt barely covered Tina’s body, falling just at the top of her thighs.   The buttons were perilously unfastened to highlight Tina’s delicious cleavage.

    “How do I sell this masterpiece to a brainless twit?”

    Bette snickered, quickly drawing Tina’s attention to her vantage point.

    “Oh my god you scared me!”  Tina’s palm rested on her chest as she willed her heart to stop racing.  “What are you doing up?”

    “I could ask you the same thing.”

    “The script.”  Tina held up the bound copy of the script she had gushed about over dinner.  “I couldn’t put it down.”

    “Sounds like an amazing piece of work,” Bette smiled as Tina offered her cute, innocent smile.  “Are you going to back it?”

    “I will not only back this, Babe, I will beg to have it made by the studio.  You can’t believe how powerful it is, but I’m sure the mindless…”

    “Twit as you mentioned before,” Bette smiled as she interrupted Tina’s rant to playfully tease her.
