Her palms were sweaty and her heart was racing, but Tina knew that Bette would do anything to make her happy. It relaxed her to know that, but she still had her hesitations.
“I feel like a virgin.”
“Go with it,” Bette smirked, closing the door behind her again, leaning back against it. Tina looked so delicate there, lying on her back. Completely oblivious to anything around her. She looked sweet and vulnerable.
“Bette … I feel so many things. I can’t even decide what I feel.”
Slowly, Bette stepped over to ease her mind. “Because you’re excited. You’ve been thinking about your first time with a woman for a long, long time. Am I right?”
With her eyes closed, Tina could hear better. Bette was getting close to her bed. Self-consciously, she brought her legs up and crawled back. “I … guess you’re right. I always wondered what it would be like with a woman.”
“But look at me,” Bette said, finally seeing Tina’s eyes on her. “I’m not just a woman, Tina. It’s me. I want you to see me, and I want you to want this … with me.”
“I do!” Tina insisted, taking in another deep breath. “I’m sorry. Come here.”
Bette crawled onto the bed as if she’d been doing it that way for years. She laid on her side to look at Tina with her head in her hands. “Does it bother you that I’m so easy?” she smiled, “That I do everything you say? I know some women like to play hardball.”
“Well … I just like to play with you,” Tina flirted, finding more ease after Bette seemed concerned, too. But she couldn’t let their time slip away from her. She needed Bette as badly as she ever did. She trembled whenever she thought about the two of them together. She shifted so that she was on her side, too. Right beside Bette. “I love that we laugh and play … it … kind of excites me.”
“Kind of?” Bette teased back, suddenly distracted with the cleavage she could see from the top of Tina’s shirt.
“Don’t look!” Tina laughed, placing her hand over her chest – laughing harder when Bette climbed on top of her and easily pinned her again. “No! Don’t look at me!”

if there was a 10 point rating this would be a 10… thats why me and most of the other writers disable the stars… anyway… loved this chapter… and bette does have to get tin a talking about her ex… he did a lot of anage to her… but i’m sure bette will fix… so the night is still young, let them eat and then get them back to bed… :)… pps
*thud* … It’s so sweet sexy loving amazing chapter! I love the way you describe each turmoil of their struggle, and how deep is their connection! The beautiful thing is how honest you wrote about Tina’s new experience and how Bette is fighting her own tears and in the end it is so so beautiful as they have more understanding of themselves and also each other. And what is that about one star?! Whoever give that rating is not understand the rating system properly I guess! (duh!) anyway GR.. Thank you so much for the amazing chapter and wonderful story, I am so looking forward to your next update ;-)

This was a most wonderfully sweet and loving chapter. It showed that even though Tina was a bit green about the process she hung in there for the woman she loves and tried to do any and everything that would make their experience together as loving as it could possibly be. Brava Tina!!! And she learned how to please her love and discovered the wonder of loving a woman and making love to someone that she truly loves, as opposed to having sex with someone as a duty. They are becoming so easy with each other and that is great. Even Bette discovered the joys and the deep level of intimacy in makng love to the person that you are truly in love with. Thanks for sharing.

i’m speechless,i never thought i would read something so so BEAUTIFUL and i must confess that after reading the chapter i felt bad because i realized that underestimate the story,so i apologize to GR for that.I am very moved by how you wrote the emotions,desires and fears of Bette and Tina and how they can see or feel what happens to the other with only a gesture or a look and the way they care for each other is really beautiful.I like how Tina used her mother’s side to comfort Bette,to make her feel better.For me this is undeniably one of the best chapter i’ve read so far and i’m really grateful that this site exists and that incredibly talented people like GR take the time to share their stories with us. If you don’t like the story don’t read it but to give few or a solitary star is ridiculous. Stars should be based on the quality of the story not if you like it. There are stories on this site that are well written but I don’t care for the approach or the story line. Therefore, I don’t read anymore or don’t vote.

Wow. One star, huh? I haven’t even read this chapter past the author’s notes yet, but I think I have a pretty good idea of what goes on at times with the ratings, specific to your posts. I’ll read and then come back with a comment on the chapter.
Yeah… This chapter was not exactly a one-star affair. To whoever the low rater/s is/are, just speak up already. Honest, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is never a bad thing. Besides, we *are* all adults here, right? To GrindRight, just do your thing, there is certainly room for it all here. To each her (or his) own.
By the time I read this post, it had already been given 4 stars but considering Jp22’s post, I honestly can’t see why this would be rated with only one star. I personally enjoyed it, actually I enjoy all of your work lol. I love how these two are able to be so playful together even at the most intimate times. They can so easily make each other comfortable and cure any insecurities. I believe you achieved everything you were aiming for GR, thank you for sharing

I am arriving post war… It seems but if jp22’s comment is anything to go by I think there are people here who should have a wee bit more honesty instead of hiding behind an anonymous star rating! This was a perfectly crafted scene, one which could easily fit in the ‘how to’ category, it was sweet, sexy, serious …. They had a good time…. I’m really enjoying this story. I love how realistic this love scene is. This is Tina’s first time with a woman and you captured her excitement mixed with anxiety perfectly. It is so sweet how Tina is able to soothe Bette’s fears about the intensity of her feelings for Tina. They are so sweet together. Thanks for posting!
Forget the star rating… I loved the way you wrote this chapter, honestly from the heart of two beautiful women just beginning the dance of intimacy with one another. It was raw, honest, heartfelt and such a pleasure to enjoy being there with them as they walked the path together of this new discover y for both of them of falling in love with the right one.
