As Good As It Gets – Chapter 14

Tina slowly opened her eyes to the warm morning, a soft smile appearing on her face when she saw Bette lying beside her. The brunette was facing the other way and giving Tina a perfect view of each line on her muscular back, the arm that was calmly placed on her side slowly rose and fell with each gentle breath.
Tina still found it hard to believe that Bette was there with her, naked and in her bed of all places. The brunette never ceased to surprise her and though Ava ruined part of their night, the before and after was simply amazing.
Tina propped her head up with one hand and used the other to lightly trail her fingers down Bette’s back, she could easily feel the definition of each muscle. She only meant to admire the sleeping beauty beside her but sure enough Bette awakened, slowly opening her own eyes and smiled softly as she felt Tina’s fingers on her.
Slowly turning onto her back, Bette grabbed the hand that had been exploring her body and brought it to her face. She tenderly kissed each finger as Tina continued to lay on her side, wearing nothing more than a thin sheet and a smile as she gazed lovingly at the beautiful woman in her bed.
The soft jingles from Tina’s bracelet filled Bette’s ears as she kissed her lover’s fingers. She pulled back to admire the beautiful gift and even touch the charms.
"I thought you and I could fill the rest of it together"
Tina smiled wider, unable to say anything due to the bliss she felt for the gorgeous brunette. Filling up a charm with that many links could take a very long time and Tina loved the fact that Bette was thinking long term. It was amazing how drastically Tina’s life had changed in the span of a few months but the blonde found that she couldn’t have been happier with the way her life turned out.
Bette turned her head to look at Tina for reassurance and was met with a smile and a nod. Before the blonde could lean in for a kiss, Bette brought a hand to Tina’s face and gently stroked the area Ava had hit just the night before. It had become a pretty nasty bruise, nothing that makeup couldn’t cover.

Wonderfully written chapter with all it contained. I don’t understand people not getting the fact that you can’t make someone love you that doesn’t. Sad Ava… She blew it with her humongous ego. Sam with her taking Tina for granted. Too bad some don’t appreciate what they have when they have it. Thanks for the post.
Love your story, as always! Fingers crossed that Ava and Sam topple off of that roof while spying. Would love to see Bette and Tina completely ignore the two of them and not waste a moment on Sam and Ava.
Sam and Ava deserve each other. Make them runoff the the sunset together… annoying little buggers like a mosquito you can’t squash.
I don’t understand the pettiness of Ava and Sam. Move on! It’s over. PPS.

Sam should grovel. grovel. grovel. and still not deserve someone decent like tina. Bette’s lashing out at the bodyguards was funny/ all that muscle. haha. i really liked that beat.
Man come on. Sam better grow a pair she cannot be that stupid! She is the cause of her and Tina are broken up and that cousin of hers is a class A B***h! She is just an artist and cannot have that much clout to think she can kill Planet records and get all these people fired. I really wish I could punch her in the face. If Tina is stupid enough to fall for whatever this foolishness is I know Sam does not think she will be the arms that she falls into. Yea she wants Tina back enough to do anything, but, she needs to think before she does this time.She better throw that ho under the bus and try to maye salvage a straned friendship with Tina, she will not be forgiven that easily.PPVS

Thanks Liah for the update :-) … Uhm … Not for the edge-especially when being left like this :-/ hehe ;-) and I can’t believe that Ava and SAMs affair is still not revealed!! :-( agree with the rest.. Can smell drama on the air ;-) I am pining for the next updates! And the SMASH party! It’s smashing Ava and Sam, isn’t it?! Hehe.. :-p thanks again Liah :-)
It’s really amazing how much more un-likeable Ava gets with each successive chapter. She’s going for gold! I think I’m relying on Sam finding some sort of a conscience before too much more trouble is caused, but I don’t think that will happen soon enough. So, instead I’m going to root for big sister Kit finding them both and destroying them, somehow. Kit never gets to really go all Terminator on anyone, and I think it’s a shame, really. Anyway, I hope the event has at least some happy times for Bette and Tina. Thanks for the post Liah! :) (And remember: Kit SMASH!)
