"I’ll be with you in just a moment"
He spoke without looking up, something that Ava hated with a passion. She loved for all attention to be focused on her and getting some half-assed response wasn’t something that she would stand for. She pursed her lips and crossed her arms over her large chest, her cleavage practically spilling out of her low cut shirt. She cleared her throat and James’ eyes instantly lifted, widening when he realized who had been standing in front of his desk.
"Long time no see"
James swallowed hard at the sight before him, Ava dressed in all her slutty glory and smiling at him in a way that was anything but sweet.
"I-I don’t know where she is"
"Aw, come on now. Don’t insult me, James. Lying to me already? I didn’t even ask you anything yet, sweetie"
James had been well informed to stay clear away from Ava, she was ruthless and never took no for an answer. Before her relationship with Bette ended, James already knew some Ava’s psychotic antics. She did whatever it took to get what she wanted, something James would do well enough not to forget.
"What can I help you with Ava?" James offered in his kindest, most professional voice. He didn’t want to upset the vocalist, he wasn’t stupid.
"That’s better" Ava smiled sweetly, or at least tried to. After making another unsuccessful attempt to see Bette, James was Ava’s last hope. She needed him cooperative, "Now then, will I be able to ask you an honest question and receive an honest answer?"
James pursed his lips, knowing full well the question she was about to ask. He decided not to humor her though, it would just be a waste of time.
"I don’t know where she is, Ava. I haven’t seen Bette since yesterday"
It wasn’t exactly a lie, James hadn’t seen Bette since the day before and if he was being literal, the brunette could be anywhere at the moment. That didn’t mean he didn’t know her overall destination.

looks like tina or bette caught what ava was saying about sam… i am wndering if they say any thing about that… ava just about told tina she was the one who sam was with… any way… ava needs hers now… maybe a fewe lost teeth too, this way she can’t sing any more…now that would be her due justice… love this story… and it will be sunday here in NY in about 4 and 1/2 hours… :)

I thought they were already a couple? I can’t believe Ava was even mobile after sucker punching Tina. I would’ve been waiting out in the parking lot with a ski mask, bat and Cadillac. I read the Ava fight scene with Kanye West’s Flashing Lights and it totally went together. Thanks Miss Liah 😘

Ooohh, Ava is going to absolutely get it, and it cannot come soon enough, even though I think she has a lot more crap and trouble-making up her sleeve. Once the truth about everything is out though… >:D On another note, everything else about Bette and Tina’s reunion was really sweet. Thanks for the post, Liah! :)
