    Goodbye Party-Chapter 2

    March 17, 2012-Fresno Women’s Prison

Alice walked back into her cell and plopped down on her bunk. Her cellmate Alex climbed out of her bunk and stood in front of Alice. “What happened Alice?” she said looking concerned.

“You care?” Alice scoffed bitterly, “I’ve been your bitch for four years ever since you came her. You fuck me whenever you want then go smoke a damn cigarette. You’re telling me now that you actually care?”

Alex sat down beside Alice on the bed. She was a thick butch woman with short red hair and tattoos all over her arms.  "After four years you kinda grew on me."

Alice rolled her eyes, "fuck you."

Alex shrugged, "not like you have a damn a choice."

    Alice scoffed, "shut up."

"Alright whatever can you just spill it already?" Alex said.

"They found the murder weapon of my case," Alice said.

"I thought you pushed her off the balcony," Alex said.

"I didn’t kill her!" Alice snapped.

"Everyone says that," Alex said rolling her eyes.

"I didn’t!" Alice snapped, "on the murder weapon there were fingerprints and mine weren’t there!"

    Alex looked surprised, "what?"

"I’m innocent," Alice said, "and it’s been proven."

Alex gulped, "so you’ve been locked in here for seven years, for nothing?"

"I get out tomorrow," Alice said.

Alex looked sad, "wait I don’t want you to go!"

"Well too damn bad," Alice said with an impish grin. It had been years since Alice had grinned that way. The playful gossip girl she used to be was long gone, but maybe, just maybe she could find her again.

    March 18, 2012-West Hollywood

"What do you think of these?" Molly said lifting up a background. It was a beautiful faded back sheet that came in several different colors.

"Aren’t those the typical colors though?" Shane said rubbing her chin.

"Shane your photo studio is gaining fame," Molly said, "you’re even getting Hollywood stars. I know you don’t like have the regular options, but you should at least have them there as a choice. Some people like the cliche ones."
