Goodbye Party-Chapter 1

March  17, 2012-New York City

Tina walked into the apartment throwing her bag on the floor in exhaustion. She shut the door and slid her hands down in her face in utter annoyance. It had been a rough day at the studio and she got nothing done even though she hadn’t even had time to eat all day.

“Mommy!”

Before Tina could even look down she felt the 10 year-old jump on her wrapping her arms around Tina’s neck and her legs around Tina’s waist. “Jesus!” Tina gasped.

“Angie take it easy on your mom!” Bette scolded walking into the room belly first with her palms on her lower back.

Angie climbed off Tina and said, “sorry mom.”

Tina rubbed her back slowly and groaned. “You okay baby?” Bette said walking forward very slowly.

Tina blinked and snapped her head towards Bette, “hey what are you doing out of bed?”

Bette scoffed, “well our ten year old daughter was hungry and no one was here to cook for her.”

“What the hell happened to Jose?” Tina snapped, “I hired him to take care of you and Angie! Dr. Walters said you needed to be on bed rest.” Tina walked forward and rubbed Bette’s large belly, “you have our babies in there Bette and I would just die if anything happened to you.”

Angie stepped in between them and hugged Bette’s belly, “is there really three babies in there?”

“Yes babe,” Bette said.

“That’s why you’re supposed to stay in bed,” Tina said, “At your advanced age the three babies can break your spine, you’re not supposed to get up Bette.”

“I know babe but I caught Jose making out with some girl behind our house,” Bette said, “look I know you feel uncomfortable with a female nanny but let’s face it we’re never gonna find another guy like Angus to do the job.”

Tina sighed, “do you have any idea how sexy you are? It doesn’t matter how straight a girl is you can unravel that with just a smile.”

“Aww babe,” Bette said leaning forward and kissing Tina’s lips.
