Anne Ramsay and Heather Matarazzo appeared in the staged reading of Clare Booth Luce’s hit play from 1936, The Women. Ramsay appeared in several guest spots in Seasons 1 and 2 of the The L Word as one of Jenny’s girlfriends. Matarazzo appeared in several Season 4 guest spots as a reporter stalked by Jenny.
The staged reading was a benefit for PROVINCETOWN CARES. Each year during Women’s Week, Provincetown Cares puts on a benefit staged reading. Many celebrities offer their time, talent, and names to help benefit the organization and the charities they support – all focused on women’s health issues. Past celebrities included Erin Daniels and Michelle Clunie.
