CellaNox Debut Novel: Out of the Flames

CellaNox’ debut novel, Out of the Flames, releases this week!
We are so delighted and proud that CellaNox joins BenMac as a published author who got their start here on LesFan!

The novel started at lesfan.comas a wildly popular Bette & Tina fanfic story. Many of you are very familiar with CellaNox’s fanfiction. She has taken those stories and is crafting them into a three-part Manhattan Sloane Series. Manhattan Sloane, the hot protagonist, is based on the Bette Porter character.The second book in the series will release December 2020. The third and final book will release Spring 2021.

The Manhattan Sloane Series

Set against the backdrop of present-day San Francisco’s drug world, you’ll meet police detective Manhattan Sloane who believes law and justice don’t always mean the same thing. This romantic thriller series will make you feel the enormity of grief, ache at the pain of betrayal, experience the healing power of love, and learn as Sloane does, the real difference between law and justice.

    • Oh, Sassy Gran, I miss your regular comments. You’ll have to forgive me for the small cliffhanger at the end of Out of the Flames, but don’t worry, the followup book, From the Ashes, will be out before the end of the year.

    I’m sad though that you removed your Delayed series on this site. It was one of the all-time-best stories that I regularly returned to for a re-read.

      Thank you! The name Manhattan Sloane has a special meaning that shall remain kept under lock and key.

      The launch party was supposed to be at ClexaCon in Las Vegas this week. Sadly, no party for this book. Perhaps a big party next year when the third book in the series, Beyond the Smoke, releases in the Spring.

      I’m so glad that you liked the Delayed series, but don’t fret. While I’m in a holding pattern for the next two books in the Manhattan Sloane series (drafted and ready for the editors), I’ve started re-envisioning the Delayed series. While I’ll tweak a few plot points, the basic storylines will remain intact. The series will be rebranded under a different name, to be announced later this year. If all goes as planned, you might see the first book in that series released late next year.

    • BAT2012, I’ve read no less than nine of your stories, and I’m a true fan. I found fanfic as a way to heal my brain from a series of strokes. The more I read from incredible writers such as you, the more I was inspired to start penning a story of my own.
