Our own CellaNox is receiving rave reviews for her debut Out of the Flames! We’re not surprised. Remember, the novel started as The L Word fanfiction here on LesFan. It was a terrifically popular story that she has adapted into the first novel in a series.
Out of the Flames is the#1 New Release in LGBT Thrillers on Amazon and has ranked in the Top 100 Best Sellers in Lesbian Fiction for most of May.
The book has received some amazing reviews. Bella Books summarized some of them:
Out of the Flames by Stacy Lynn Miller received great reviews this month. Betty Harmon at Rainbow Reflections wrote, “A satisfying, tear-jerking, emotional tale … populated with strong characters that deserves to be read again and again. I want more!” She also added the book to her “Favorites” list on Goodreads. LezReviewBooks.com also gave the book a compelling review. Out of Flames is “emotional, sweet, heartbreaking, and exciting all rolled into one,” wrote reviewer Lex Kent who also placed the book on her “2020 Favorites List” on Goodreads. She continued, “This book brought on all the feels, and made me grab for the tissues … If you are looking for a book that is emotional, exciting, hopeful, and entertaining, you came to the right place … you will absolutely want a book two.” And, LezReviewBooks.com placed Out of the Flames on their list of “Recommended Books for April 2020.”

Thank you, Jacky. If not for LesFan, none of this would’ve happened. I found this site when I was recuperating from a series of strokes. Not only did reading story after story help heal my brain, it sparked a writing bug in me. The hundreds of authors and their collective courage to put their stories out there, inspired me to do the same. I’m proud to have my roots here, and will always consider this place home.

kiwipit,
It’s wonderful knowing that fanfic readers support my transition to lesfic. I’ll let you in on a little secret. When I draft my manuscripts, I still picture Bette and Tina as my main characters. I can’t get them out of my head, whether I’m writing about Sloane and Finn in my Manhattan Sloane Series or Alex and Tyler in my upcoming Falling Castles Series, formerly known as the Delayed Series. I have an inkling, no matter the story, B&T will always be my inspiration.
Thanks so much for your support in this wonderful journey. It means more than you realize.
CN (a.k.a., Stacy Lynn Miller)
p.s., Book two, From the Ashes, will be out in Dec, and book three, Beyond the Smoke, will be out in Spring 2021. I also proposed a re-envisioning of Delayed Connection under a different title to kick of my Falling Castles Series, which if picked up, should hit online stores in Fall 2021. Cross your fingers.
