Sandra of the Secret Service

The information would have to do for now.  If nothing else, Yonda had provided Agent McLane with a good head start.  The trails all seem to flow through Oswald “The Penguin” Cobblepott in Gotham City.  More importantly, there was a name to now look up and that name was Katherine “Kate” Lane.

Sandra now had new questions.  How does Kate connect with Penguin?  How does this somehow connect with the Grayson tragedy?  Flying back home to the United States, another thought was beginning to creep into Sandra’s mind.  Was it possible for Kate’s actions to be implemented with her cousin?  This could turn into a media frenzy.  This was something the Secret Service was hoping to deal with without much press.

Reading the news flash on her tablet, Sandra realized that may not be an option.

“Kate Lane, cousin of Daily Planet reporter, Lois Lane arrested in Gotham City.”

Sandra’s eyes light up.  Things are about to get bad.  Really bad.

Little Linda

Today, Little Linda Flint has a play date.  Today, she shares in an adventure with a young boy named Bill Trout.  Sitting against the tree in Linda’s backyard with his hands behind his back, Bill looked annoyed.

Bill “Why do I have to sit here like this?”

She appears with a yellow towel somehow wrapped and tied around her collar and a domino mask made out of white paper.

Linda “Don’t worry!  I’m Robin and I’m here to save you!”

Little Linda is Robin and she sees bad guys and girls everywhere.  One by one, she takes them down.  She makes her way to Bill who sits patiently as “Robin” yells “Pow!” and “Bam!” with her various strikes.  Now at the tree where Bill is still sitting, Linda reaches down.

Linda “Don’t worry!  They’re all down and now I can save you!”

Bill “How I never get to save you?”

Linda “Because…”

Little Linda smiles with a pose of triumph.

Linda “…I’m the hero!”

The Wrath of Fang Gow

Hong Kong.

The plane has landed in China.  From here, Jean Le Grand is on her own.  She is “Leslie Rapids,” an unassuming American on vacation.  She is here to study the local popular culture scene for an upstart magazine out of Los Angeles.  As far as anyone in China knows, that is why “Leslie Rapids” is here.
