Rose’s POV
I can’t believe my dad showed up at the worse possible time so I’m figuring out how to distract him so Vanessa can sneak out because he knows nothing about Vanessa coming to visit or staying here last night because last he knew Vanessa is still missing plus he went out last night to meet a friend for dinner. He asked about dinner for tonight when he got a phone call saying that he had to hurry back to the office something had gone wrong and he needed to go help fix it so we had to cancel dinner and he left money for me for to order something in or go out somewhere which made me really happy that meant that I would get the whole house to myself with Vanessa for a few hours which was great for us but there is one issue to this dinner idea and that issue would be that if we go out in public to eat people would be going ballistic because the last they knew she had ran away. So I thought that me and Vanessa would just order pizza and watch movies in my room all night. I went to my window and climbed up to my secret ledge, when I got there she was just looking out at the beautiful blue sky and the view of the mountains she looks so happy. I don’t know if I should sneak up on her or not so I will just lean over her and plant a intensive kiss right on her soft beautiful lips that I love so much. As I go to lean over her she looks up and she kisses me, it was as if we were in our own little world where no one can judge us not even ourselves. The long kiss lasted for only a few minutes because we went had to catch our breath sometime I asked her if she was hungry? Vanessa replied ”yes” so we climbed off my secret ledge, into the window and sat on my bed to debate on we wanted to eat so we both agreed on a pizza. I walked to the movie store with Vanessa but she was in a black hoodie that disguised her from anyone seeing her except for me. As we walk into the movie store I whispered to Vanessa saying that she picked out a couple scary movies and I would pick out some action movies. We meet up and headed to the counter to rent them we decided on Oculus, and Annabelle for scary movies, 300 Rise of an Empire and Divergent. But when we went to checkout the cashier told us that we needed one more movie and we would get a awesome discount so I whispered to Vanessa to pick out one more movie so we could get a discount she walked back to the movies, the cashier was trying to flirt with me and I kinda flirted back since Vanessa and I were the only ones in the store and we weren’t necessarily a couple yet so I figured why not. I didn’t notice that Vanessa had put the movie on the counter and she walked out of the movie store furious. I payed for the movies, walked outside to find her no where insight so I just walked home and ordered two large pizzas but after a while I began to worry about her maybe I shouldn’t have flirted with the cashier and then maybe Vanessa wouldn’t have left. I kept thinking bad thoughts about what happened to her but tried to wash it out of my head with the movie she chose which was The Fault In Our Stars but decided to just watch Divergent which made me feel even worse I got off my bed, walked over to my dresser, opened my top drawer moved my clothes around to find the ring that I was going to give to her before but I didn’t want to seem pushy because if I was being pushy I might scare her away. I close the ring box, put it in my pocket and set out to find her the first place I look is the secret ledge but she is not there so then I search the whole and she is no where to be found. I start to feel like giving up when I realize that there is only one place I haven’t checked yet the tree house. As I edge closer to it I start to get all these questions running through my brain like what if she isn’t there then what? just stuff like that but I pushed those thoughts aside and climbed up the ladder to the hatch I lifted the hatch and climbed up the rest of the way. To my surprise there she was asleep with the stack of blankets and pillows I left there were all strung across the floor. I lean over her, kiss her beautiful lip which wake her up. She props herself up on her elbows I ask her if she would stand up for me. I asked her to go into the house through my bedroom window,go into my closet choose something nice to wear and then meet me back at the treehouse in 15 minutes she agreed. While she was getting ready I was preparing dinner for us.
