I was a bit worried after I read your letter but have drawn up another set of plans for our place. I hope this one doesn’t end up ‘In the wash’.

Dear Gazza

Thanks for the plans, they are in a safe place., I look at them every night. I can’t bloody wait to make it all real.

Jip’s a great name for a dog Gazza. I’m glad you have him to keep you company until I get out in April. Speaking of that, I’ve got a bit of news too. I’ve met someone inside and if it’s okay with you, I’d really love her to come and live with us (and Jip). Her name is Lennie. Gazza she’s beautiful. She was brought in about three weeks ago. I knew straight away that it was meant to be. I could tell from the jump that she was the same as me. We started talking and just really hit it off. She’s tiny, only 5ft but feisty and so funny and smart.  A real pocket rocket.  It’s real funny, she’s got short blonde hair, and tattoos just like me, but her eyes aren’t brown, they are the colour of the ocean. Jeez, listen to me, I’ll be writing poetry next. Lennie has a problem with her eyes and doesn’t see too good but she sees me alright. Sees me for who I really am and doesn’t try to change me. That’s not true of most others in here. It’s her birthday soon but I’m not sure to give her.

I hope this is all okay by you. Please write and tell me.

Your last letter really made me laugh. You’re inside and still having more luck with the Sheilas than me! Lennie sounds real good for you and that’s good enough for me. When is she due out?

Jip’s doing well and working hard. You’re gonna love him.

Sorry it’s a short one, but it sounds like that’s what you prefer these days hahaha

What did you give her for a present in the end? Or should I not ask.
