    Spencer tried as hard as she could to concentrate on the 12-page paper she had to write for Wednesday but her mind kept racing with thoughts of Ashley. She couldn’t get the butterflies in her stomach to stop fluttering for even a minute. Every nerve in her body was on end and when she heard the familiar buzz of her cell phone she must have jumped 5 feet into the air.

     

    Ashley: How about a little pre-date date?

     

    Spencer’s smile spread across her face as she began to type back.

     

    Spencer: I have a paper to writeÉ

     

    Spencer tried to anticipate Ashley’s next text message but was surprised to find that she was now calling her.

     

    Ashley: Hey.

     

    Spencer: Hi.

     

    Ashley: I figured it would be easier to call then text.

     

    Spencer: Good thinking.

     

    Ashley: Now, about that paper of yours. You can still work on it. Give me one hour ok?

     

    Spencer wondered what the brunette had in store.

     

    Spencer: Ok…

     

    Ashley: Do me a favor. Go over to your terrace and close the curtains.

     

    Spencer: What? Why?

     

    Ashley: Because I’m asking real nice.

     

    Spencer: Fair enough.

     

    She stood and walked toward the doors, as she got closer she could see Ashley standing right by hers and waving.

     

    Ashley: Good. Now closed them.

     

    Spencer: But if I close them I won’t be able to see you.

     

    Ashley laughed.

     

    Ashley: You’ll see me soon enough.

     

    Spencer: Fine.

     

    Pulling on the cord, Spencer watched as both curtains fell to the ground.

     

    Ashley: Perfect. I will call you in one hour to tell you what you need to do next. Ok?

     

    Spencer: You got it.

     

    Ashley: Great.

     

    Ashley hung up before Spencer could even say good-bye. She had no idea what the girl had in store for her but she was more excited then she had ever been. Sitting back down at her desk she was determined to write at least one page but instead of reading her textbook her eyes remained glued to her cell phone. She watched as the minutes ticked by slowly and she thought she would go crazy. After what seemed like an eternity, the phone finally rang.

    7. that was like fluffy kitty cute. :D it was adorable how ashley did the pre-date thing, creating an atmosphere for them. oh and I loved that hersheys kiss thing lol it was beyond sweet! it actually reminded me of wht my ex did for me. :) post again soon!!!
