Ashley: “babe everything fine, I’m sure that the tests are normal and the doctors only taking because it was a lot of tests and you have nothing to worry about you been doing everything right, regular doctors eating healthy, doing everything your supposed to.”, she leaned up and gave Spencer a quick kiss. “And believe babe when I say that this entire pregnancy you and the baby will be fine.” She said caress Spencer’s cheek.

Spencer: “How do you know that Ash?”

Ashley: “Because I have faith that it will”, Spencer laughed.

Spencer: “I thought Ashley Davies didn’t believe in faith”

Ashley: “that was before I met you”

This caused Spencer to smile widely and just then the doctor walk in.  Ashley went back to her chair, with Spencer’s hands still firmly in her grip.

Ashley: “so how is everything doc.  I mean with Spencer and the baby?” Ashley asked she was just as nervous as Spencer but had a better way of hiding it.

Doctor: “their just fine Spencer and the babies are fine.”

Ashley: “See Spencer I told you there was nothing to worry about you and the babies…..” that when realization caught Ashley “Wait stop rewind and freeze did you just say babies?”

Doctor: “Yes I did Mrs. Davies; you are going to be the proud parents of twins.  Spencer smiled the loved the fact of having one child with Ashley to share their love with was great but two was even better.  Her smile soon fell when she the look on Ashley’s face.

Ashley: “Aaaarre.. y…ou su…re” Ashley stammered out.

Doctor: “Yes I am the ultra sounds never lie.” He then wrote something on the paper and gave it to Spencer, “This is a prescription for some prenatal Vitamins and the date of your next appointment and congratulations to you both.  They left the doctors office and went home.  On the way home the car was very quiet.  Ashley could not get over the fact that Spencer was actually having twins, and Spencer was lost in thought thinking that Ashley wasn’t happy with the fact they were having twins.  When they arrived how Spencer told Ashley that she was tired and that she going go up stairs and take a nap Ashley told her that she would be there in a little while she was going to make them some lunch Spencer just nodded and headed off upstairs.
