Ashley and Kyla walked into the King High cafeteria.  “Are we lost?” Ashley asked.

“No, we’re at the right place,” answered Kyla.

“What are we doing here on a Saturday morning?” Ashley questioned with curiosity.  You better have a good reason for waking me up early and bringing me here, Ky. 

“Believe me I do,” responded Kyla.  Kyla pointed out Spencer who was serving the senior citizens.

“What about Spencer, sis?” Ashley asked.  We’re not talking anymore.  It’s the best for the both of us.

“It’s been what a couple of weeks since you last talked to her and you miss her,” answered Kyla simply.  I know for a fact that Spencer misses you, too.  She told me herself while I talked to her in class.  Look, you need to bury the hatchet between you and Spencer sooner or later.

“They aren’t back together,” stated Kyla. 

“How did you know she was going to be here to begin with?” Ashley asked.

“I’m a psychic,” joked Kyla.

“No, really,” Ashley stated. 

“I knew about today’s event and asked Spencer if she was coming to help out,” explained Kyla.  I told that I would bring a friend along.  Spencer went towards Ashley and Kyla.

 “Hi girls,” Spencer said.

“Hey,” said Kyla. 

“Hi,” Ashley said. 

“Well, look at the time,” began Kyla as she checked her watch.  I have to get going.

“What are you doing?” Ashley questioned with curiosity.  Ashley gave Kyla a confused look.

“I have to go meet Aiden,” responded Kyla.  I’ll see you later, Ash.  Kyla walked away to leave Spencer and Ashley alone.

“Wow, you look beautiful today,” Ashley commented.

“Thanks, you look good, too,” responded Spencer.  Ash, I… I’ve tried calling you for the last couple of weeks and either Kyla would intercept the call or it would go to voicemail.  I’m beginning to take it personal.

“I know,” sighed Ashley.  Kyla told me about the calls.  I thought it wouldn’t be best if I didn’t return your calls.
