Ashley was watching Spencer sleep.  She pressed her lips against Spencer’s forehead.  “Good morning, Ash,” Spencer said groggily.

“Good morning,” said Ashley.  “Sorry that I woke you.”

“It’s okay,” Spencer replied.  “You didn’t wake me though.  Besides, I can’t stay in bed the whole day.  My Mom would call me a bum.”

“Alright, but if makes you feel any better I heard your parents leave awhile ago,” stated Ashley.  “Are you hungry?  I don’t know about you, but I sure am.

“Yep,” Spencer responded.  “I’ll go get us some cereal to eat.”  Spencer was about to get up from her bed, but Ashley stopped her.

“Stay in bed,” said Ashley.  “I’ll just make us some breakfast in bed.”

“Are you sure?” Spencer asked.  “You don’t even know where anything is at here for you to cook a meal.”

“Don’t worry about it,” responded Ashley.  “I’ll find it.  If not, I’ll improvise.”  Ashley let out a light chuckle.  Ashley was about to kiss Spencer, but Spencer moved back.  Ashley looked confused.  “What’s wrong?”

“Morning breath,” Spencer pointed out with a sigh.

“It really doesn’t matter to me,” said Ashley.  “As long as I get to feel your lips against mine, I’m fine.”  Ashley caressed Spencer’s cheek.

“You are really full of surprises,” Spencer stated with a smile.  “You are completely different from what I expected.”

“That’s good, right?” asked Ashley with hopefulness in her voice.

“Yep, definitely,” Spencer answered.  “It means that I’m glad that we got together.”

“Me too,” agreed Ashley.  Spencer leaned in and kissed Ashley softly on her lips.  Ashley smiled and the kiss had lasted for several minutes.  Spencer pulled back from the kiss.  Ashley got up from Spencer’s bed and headed towards the kitchen. 

Awhile later, Ashley walked into Spencer’s room and brought a tray of breakfast.  “I made different varieties of food in case you weren’t sure on what to eat,” Ashley explained.

“Thank you,” stated Spencer.

“You’re very welcome,” said Ashley and they began to eat.

A few minutes later, Spencer and Ashley were finished eating.  “Since you made such a wonderful breakfast, the least I can do is go wash the dishes,” Spencer offered as she finally got up from the bed, however Ashley stopped her.

“Don’t worry about it,” responded Ashley.  “This is all about you today so just relax.  I’ll take care of it.”
