It’s hard ya know. Going through everyday seeing the person you’re in love with but never being able to have them. Them  being there but never in reach. IT sucks beyond all reasoning. It has been 2 weeks since Spencer officially broke-up with me. 2 weeks and she hasn’t called, text or IM’d. The most i get is a simple head nod of acknowledgment at school or during class and i hate it. On occasions she’ll give me a genuine smile. That smile that actually reaches her eyes and makes them even more beautiful then they already are. Its lunch hour and I’m sitting at the lunch tables with aiden, my best male friend, and Kyla, my sister. Of course Kyla is chatting away thinking that I’m listening to whatever she is saying when really I’m off in my own little word. Now she’s staring at me like she’s waiting for me to say something.

"What? Did you say something?" I ask , seriously not know what she was just talking to me about.

"I said did you want to atten Gray’s tonight with Aiden and I. It’s open mic night and madison is playing. I really don’t wanna go but since Madison is Aiden’s girlfriend and he did ask me to come I figured if you went I would have to shoot myself in the head by the end of the night."  She finished with a smile and Aiden protested.

"Hey! I resent that." he said as if he even knew the definition of resent.

"I don’t know…" I say trying to not sound too rude at rejecting her invitation. I really haven’t been up for going out lately. I mean afterall my girlfriend who I am in love with did just break up with me 2 weeks ago. And as if on cue, I see Spencer pass by. She looks exceptionally beautiful today. not that she doesn’t always but shes looks rather glowing today. Then in the back of my mind I hope she hasn’t had sex with anyone else. I watch her pass by our lunch table and she gives me a smile and i return it.

"Is this you not wanting to go about Spencer? Because she broke up with you?" Kyla asks as I watch her pass by. Did she know how to comfort someone or what.
