Spencer slowly eased herself off the bed and pulled on her cloths. She crawled up the steps and searched for a way out of the abandoned house. Spencer finally got outside and slithered down the sidewalk. After a few minutes of walking she passed out crashing against the cold hard pavement. From across the street Sherry watched with satisfaction at the damage she’d caused Spencer.

Sherry: “I’d like to see her little hero save her now.” Sherry peeled away leaving nothing but smoke and tire marks behind her.

Ashley: “Hey Spencer this is like the hundredth message I’ve left you. I understand if you don’t want to be alone with me right now but could you at least call me and let me know that you’re okay? Well I love you please call me back.” Ashley toned drenched with desperation and sadness. Ashley pushed herself off her floor and started pacing the room. She tried to find any logical explanation as to why Spencer hadn’t called or came by. After a few minutes and no call from Spencer, Ashley ran down to her car and went to look for her. While in the car she made phone calls to Aiden, Chelsea, and Mr. C. None of them had seen Spencer today except Mr. C and that had been earlier when she decided to go grocery shopping for her and Ashley’s night. Mr. C tried to calm Ashley down and told her that she was probably just scared somewhere and getting her mind in order. Ashley didn’t see the point in arguing with him and just continued her search for Spencer.

Ashley looked everywhere, Spencer’s favorite restaurants, stores, and their spot at the lake. All of these places came up empty. Ashley was headed back to the grocery store Mr. C had said she was going to when she took a wrong turn and ended up on some run down side of town. Ashley cruised down the road when she saw a girl lying on the side walked that resembled Spencer and jumped out before the car was even stopped. Ashley slowly walked up to the unconscious body and started to cry at the sight before her. There in front of her was Spencer with bruises covering most of her face, her shirt was ripped down the middles and she didn’t have a bra on. The lower half of her body was drenched in blood. Ashley raced over to Spencer and checked to see if she had a pulse, she had one but it was faint. Ashley quickly reached into her pocket and dialed 911.

911 Operator:  “911 what’s your emergency?”

Ashley: “My friend she’s been raped.”

911 Operator: “What’s your location?” Ashley looked around trying to find a street sign.

Ashley: “Umm we’re on Ellabell Street.”

911 Operator: “Okay an ambulance is on the way. Now is she bleeding from anywhere?”

Ashley: “Yes she’s bleeding bad.”

911 Operator: “Apply Pressure to that area even if you are afraid of broken bones. Now can you do that?” Ashley took off her jacket and pressed it against Spencer.

Ashley: “Yea.”

911 Operator: “Are there any other injuries that I should know of?” Ashley looked up and down Spencer’s body and just saw bruising. From a distance she could hear sirens.

Ashley: “Other than bruising I don’t see anything.”

911 Operator: “Okay. I’m going to stay on the phone with you. If her condition changes tell me and I’ll inform you on what to do.” Ashley just continued to stroke Spencer’s hair and apply pressure to her wounds and waited for the ambulance.

Ashley: “Spencer please don’t die on me. I need you here with me. Please don’t leave me. I love you.” Ashley rocked back and forth as the sirens came closer and closer. A few minutes later an ambulance appeared and took Spencer into the back of it. Ashley tried to get into the back of the ambulance but was forbidden due to the fact she wasn’t related to her.
