    ‘Got any plans for Saturday Spence’ She asked. I thought about it and realised I had nothing to do. Glen would be out partying most of the weekend. My parents were going away to visit my mom’s sister so I was home alone. Not an unusual occurrence but I didn’t mind. Nobody bothered me and I usually went for a run, rented some movies and surfed the net….If I happened to come across some porn I considered it time well spent.

    ‘Nah, Glen’ll be out. My parents are away…so no, nothing planned’

    ‘OK, I was thinking about seeing if the others were free and having a sleep over at mine. You know, watch some dvd’s that kinda stuff….’ she tailed off.

    ‘ Yeah, I know what you mean…order pizza, talk about boys…the usual….’ I nodded.

    Saturday

    About 5.30 I got a text from Addy saying she’d be over in 10.

    I checked myself out in the mirror, pleased with what I saw…Yep, Carlin you’re hot, I thought smirking at myself in the mirror. I dress less preppy outside of school. I ditch the Abercrombie and go more for band tee or halter/beater and converse with some tight jeans that show off my ass to perfection. Today I had on a white halter and dark blue skinny jeans. Running really gives you a great figure!

    I had a small duffel packed and was pretty excited. I know, I sound about 6 don’t I? Heh. Well, I really liked these girls and was looking forward to a good bonding session. Sure we  chatted at school but there was no time for the really interesting stuff such as crushes and the real deep and meaningful. Too many ears listening in.

    I just hope we didn’t spend too much time talking about boys. I knew I couldn’t keep up much of a pretence for long. Plus I’d feel really bad lying about it to them. Not the ideal way to start a friendship. I also didn’t know their views on being gay. Oh, except Addison. It had come up before and she was definitely not a ‘phobe. I don’t think I’m ready to come out to them yet as it’s such a big step. I need to think about it some more…..I’m not sure who I really am yet….

    9. first off joan jett bad reputation.. hell yea seen her live like 4 or 5 times. second love love love your writing style and I think it has to do with your being on the other side of the atlantic! next fantastic update I wish all my friends were lesbians and we all had a sleep over like this one, would’ve made things a lot easier! can’t wait for the second part so please pms!
