‘What’s wrong?’ I questioned gently as I brushed a stray lock of hair off her face as we lay next to each other on her bed. Her brow was furrowed but I pressed her as I knew we needed to talk.
‘Spencer,’ she began before pausing again.
‘Yes Ashley?’ She giggled as I replied, it was adorable.
‘I don’t know if I can do this,’ she whispered, her words immediately changed the mood. They sunk like lead through my happiness, poisoning the moment.

The drive over to Bella’s was almost silent, she’d flicked the radio on but I’d turned it off. The commercials annoyed me. She let me brood and I appreciated it, my mind was fixated on the conversation that I knew would be taking place back at my house. I reckoned I was in for a world of hurt when I got home. I doubted that Bella could distract me but it was better than being down the hall from Ashley and Spencer. My friend parked up and I followed her into the apartment. I couldn’t help but be curious, especially after Spencer’s little tale.
Bella popped the door and ushered me inside.
‘Home sweet home,’ my friend dismissively waved her hand around and I took a moment to scope out my surroundings.
‘Nice place kid,’ I complimented her and she smiled at me then headed over to the kitchen area. It was a lovely apartment, from what Bella had said they’d been lucky to get it and I could see why.
‘Beer?’ Bella offered and I heard a door opening down the hallway which I assumed held the bedrooms. Shit, I wasn’t really in the mood for company but I was curious to see who it was.
‘Sure, I could use it,’ I replied and she handed me a bottle of the European beer she knew I liked.
‘Bella!’ I turned at the voice and came face to face with an irate, petite brunette. Cleo I assumed as I noted the uncanny resemblance to Amy that Spence had mentioned.
‘What’s up C?’ Bella finished grabbing some snacks out of the fridge before turning to face her roommate.
‘What’s up?’ Cleo scowled at her friend. ‘What’s up is that I hardly got any sleep last night what with you and slutorama on one side and Kate and Beth on the other.’ She was yelling really loudly. ‘I’m knackered and pissed off and you bring some other skank home so I know I won’t get any sleep tonight either!’ Cleo had her arms crossed over her chest and was giving Bella death rays, completely ignoring me.

Really sorry it took me so long to read this but I wanted to comment anyway and tell you that it was awesome and the interactions between Spencer and Ashley are so cute and make me want mazey even more.

great update omg i’ve been waiting so long for this really it was great ok better than great can’t wait to see what happens with addy and kate i feel bad for amy tho to me it seems like she loves spencer more than shes letting on i’m happy everyone is ok with spencer and ashley pms please!!!!!!!!

I feel bad for amy. I think she’s pretty much got a real thing for spence and then to find out spence is in love with one of her friends… hard blow to deal with. I don’t know how I feel about spence and amy possibly having a last go round though. seems like it’s just going to leave the poor thing wanting more and maybe lead to a little bit of resentment (of course you know about my ‘one last time’ feelings and bias of the situation in general) as for maggie.. I’m glad she won’t have to go cold turkey but I think she’s repressing her feelings a bit, she seemed rather happy after the talk but I couldn’t help but think something’s going on underneath and it’s all for show right now. it does seem that addy was actually sincere and that she’s really trying to make a go of a friendship with ashley, which I’m glad about. helps to ease the tension a bit. as for kate, I have no idea what to think at this point in time. although I loved that she proclaimed that she was ash’s bitch. so it seems that things are working between spashley at the moment, I don’t know for how long though. my main concern is that ash is just doing it to please spence (one of ’em said something along those lines but I can’t remember who lol) and I don’t want to see her get hurt so if the whole jealousy thing starts to creep up on ash I’m hoping that she jumps right in and lets spence know right away to prevent anything bad from happening. although hell that would make for some great drama huh? anyway babe fantastic as always, genius even =) I’m very excited to see what happens next, especially what goes on with paula… kind of ominous there… till then though.. PMS!
wow, again everything is so intense! I like how you lightened it up at the end, though. Amy, poor thing. Out of everyone I feel worst for her (and not just becasue I have an amy bias!) I wonder what the next chapter will bring?
