    The date…and then some.

    When I make it out of the theatre I see Madison walking down the hall. I race up to her and grab her arm, pulling her into the theatre close to us. The sign above it says that the movie just finished. Inside it’s quiet except for the sound of a broom swiping the floor. I turn Madison around and see that she’s crying.

    “Geez Maddy are you okay?” I say dumbly and she just glares at me “Okay it was wrong of me to laugh at you because you were scared. It’s just…it was too funny.” I start to giggle some more and Madison turns to stalk off again, but I grab her pulling her close. “Look I’m sorry okay” I say staring deep into her eyes. She watches me a while before she speaks.

    “I just…I want this date to be a serious thing for you, okay? I don’t know. I feel like you just think it’s a joke,” she says looking at the floor and I can’t help but smile. She’s so adorable. Something clicks inside of me and I realize that I might like Madison. I might actually have a chance with this girl and I’m blowing it because I’m hung up on a girl who doesn’t even love me back. Well, enough is enough.

    I reach a hand beneath Madison’s chin and lift her head so that she’s facing me. But she still won’t look at me. She stares off to the left and I intertwine our fingers. “Look Maddy. I’m sorry for how bad this date has been and for being such a bitch about….everything. But the truth is, I’m kind of scared of how I feel about you, okay?” She looks up now. “For years now I’ve only thought of Spencer. I’ve only had eyes for her. And then you pop up and things are shifting and I dunno…I’m a little freaked out by all this.”

    Her eyes get big with fear and she says, “I freak you out?” I crack a small smile at this and run a hand across her cheek.

    “No. I didn’t mean it like that,” I whisper, and before I can think it, Madison lunges forward and kisses me. Needless to say, I didn’t expect it. She pulls away, obviously embarrassed, and she won’t look at me again.

    6. Thank you, thank you, thank you for updating. I was beyond happy when I saw the new chapter. Umm..as far as ideas go the only that comes to mind is having Ashley be with Madison for as long as it take for Spencer to get a clue. I mean why should Ashley be miserable for someone that can’t make up her mind. Sorry, I know it’s not very original. I’ll keep thinking about it and if I come up with anything I’ll let you know if you like. Also, when I read your author’s note I hit my forehead with my hand in disgust. Not for you for me. I had completely forgotten about Smiling Faces. So I really, really hope you update that one too but I do understand it must be hard trying to hard trying to write three stories at the same time. So whatever you update makes me very happy. I truly admire authors that can write more than one story at the same time. Especially when all of the stories are so amazing. I can’t do it. There’s no way. I’d probably get them all confused..LOL. Okay sorry for the long comment. Wonderful update!!! PMASAP!!!
