“me too…” I told her then we both went right back to sleep

We woke up in the morning and my head was resting in the crook of Ashley’s neck, but when I started to move she woke up

“what happened last night…” she mumbled into the pillow

“honestly…I don’t remember, but I’m never drinking again”  I told her quietly

“how did we even get in here?” she asked turning and facing me

“probably Aiden…” I replied then it got quiet between us for a second “…do you think, last night we…hooked up?” I asked her then she opened her eyes looking at me

“I don’t know…” she said

“can I tell you something?” I asked her

“shoot…” she said

“if we did…like even if it was just a kiss…I’m kind of upset I don’t remember”

“why’s that?” she asked

“because I love remembering when you kiss me…” I admitted then she smiled at me and I couldn’t help but smile back

“can I tell you something?” she asked

“yep…” I told her

“your breath smells…”

“yours isn’t any better.” I told her having the impulse to kiss her lightly on the tip of her nose which made her smile then she got that look on her face that I missed

“spence…it’s probably really bad that I want to kiss you after you just did that isn’t it?” she asked me

“probably…” I replied then I lightly brushed her cheek with my finger tips

“and you’re still not making it any easier” she said

“I’m not trying to make it easier” I told her really just wanting her to kiss me, and finally she did…and it was amazing and sweet and gentle and this time I could remember it…except when she pulled away reality came back

“you know you have a girlfriend right?” she asked me

“yeah…” I replied “…but it’s just a kiss” I said

“Spencer…it’s never just a kiss…”

“okay with you and me it wasn’t because we were together for so long…but I’m dating Nicole, but I’m with you…and Nicole and I haven’t been together that long and you’re the only person I’ve ever loved…” I explained “…and I really, really want to kiss you again” I added then she just smiled again as I pulled her gently into another kiss
