Come Around

So, here’s a new story for you. I’m a senior in high school…senior year just started and I really do not want high school to end. My best friends are Aiden and Katie…we’ve been together since like birth and we’re all a month apart in birthdays…weird, I know.

We go to parties like every weekend because this year we’re going all out and not regretting anything. We go to like all the basketball games and stuff, and I myself play volleyball.

“Ashley!” Katie yelled from across court as I walked into practice

“hey…what’s up?” I asked her

“I have some stuff to tell you…” she said excited

“Katie…I talked to you like an hour ago…something good happened in that short amount of time?” I asked her laughing

“well yeah…” she told me

“ok then tell me” I told her laughing

“so…you know that junior Spencer Carlin?” she asked me

“uh…yeah…blond like my height…isn’t she in our um…” I started

“Chemistry class? Yeah…so, Megan heard from Sammy who told me that she wants to hook up with you…” she said then I started laughing

“ok…wow…” I said in disbelief “…how would Sammy know?”

“because she’s like playing soccer with her…and she talks about you…” she told me

“I don’t believe you…” I told her “…sammy talks a lot of shit” I said

“well…fine, but if she does like you would you hook up with her?”

“I don’t know Katie…she’s a like a whole year younger than I am…”

“since when does age matter? Back in the day when you were a straight girl you dated that kid who was nineteen and you were fifteen…” she told me

“whatever…” I said tying my shoes

“well…she’s going to that party tonight…personally I think you’d be cute together…and we’re going all out this year remember?” she told me

“I remember…” I said as she walked away onto the court

Later that night Aiden picked up Katie and I and we drove to this rager happening at someone’s house…keep in mind we live in North Carolina, so there’s plenty of space between houses so we don’t make too much noise.

When we got to the party so many people were there… “Davies in the house!” my friend Steve yelled and a few people cheered
