I went downstairs, and my mom was in the kitchen making breakfast

“morning…” she said

“hey…” I replied sitting down at the counter “…uh I have a question” I told her

“ok…what’s up?” she asked turning around handing me a cup of coffee

“uh…do you think that you, dad and Kyla can go out for tonight? Because tonight’s Spencer and my nine month anniversary…” I told her “…so I was going to cook for her and stuff”

“aw…Ashley that’s so cute…” she told me “…that’s no problem…when do you want us out by though?”

“like…sixish?” I asked her

“ok…no that’s fine” she said

“thanks mom” I said kissing her cheek then I ran upstairs and Spencer was still sleeping when I jumped on the bed

“still sleeping…” she said

“sorry…” I said simply getting back under the covers with her “…I love you” I told her then she rolled over

“that was random…” she said

“I know, but I do…”

“I love you too” she said kissing me

“wow, and your breath is awful” I told her and her eyes got wide

“are you serious?” she said covering her mouth

“yes” I told her “please go brush your teeth” I said then she ran out the bed and I started laughing

So, how about now we just fast forward to that night…I made dinner for Spencer and I, and she claimed she loved it…then after that we went down to the beach holding hands

“tonight was so perfect…” she said moving closer into me

“it really was…” I said then I looked up at the clear night sky and you could see every single star, it was amazing “…wow…” I said simply then Spencer looked up too

“I wish it could be like this at home…” she said then I looked back at her and she looked down at me “…oh, I have something for you” she said

“Spence…you really didn’t…”

“yes I did…” she said pulling a little black velvet box out of her pocket “…and I know it’s cheesy and so conformist, but I figured nine months was worth it…” she said handing me the box and I opened it to find a simple silver ring with diamonds all around it

“wow…Spence this is…gorgeous…” I said
