<Edwards pov>

It was time for the dance and I wasn't sure if I was still Bella's date after what I had done with Sky. A part of me wanted to call her to make sure, then the other part of me wanted to just go and pick her up. I decided to just go and pick her up for the dance. I stoped off at a small flower shop to pick up some roses for her. One rose for everytime I told her I loved her. I drove to Bella's house and stoped about 20 feet from the front door. I had seen Bella coming outside dressed for the dance. Did she know I was on my way? Right then I seen her come out with Jacob Black. I don't come around for a couple of days and the wolves decend. I was a little bit hurt, but however it is what I deserved. I parked to the side of the road and turned off my lights. I didn't want to be seen as they passed me by. I didn't know if I should go to the dance. I was only going to go because I was going to take Bella so she could have a good time. Give her a night to remember.

<Bella's pov>

Jacob and I were on our way to the dance. He smelled so good Maybe just a little bit better than Edward.

"Wow Jacob. you clean up nice."

"Thanks. I could almost say the same for you." He smiled.

"It's awesome Billy let you use his truck."

"Yea he wasn't for it at first but then I told him you were my date."

"Aw that's, sweet."

We arrived at the dance. Everyone was dressed to impress. I was looking around but, I didn't see Edward anywhere. I wasn't even sure if he was still suppose to be my date. Well if he shows up tonight I'lll be sure to save him a dance. Or something like a dance. Jacob parked the car, got out and walked over to my side of the truck and opened my door.

"Such a gentlemen."

"Comes with the outfit." He joked.

I got out of the truck, waited for Jacob to close the door and wraped my arm around his arm. I hope this night will be a good night.
