“I’m thinking crepe paper…lot’s of crepe paper” aiden mused, tossing two or three rolls into a already pregnant shopping cart. it was noon on saturday and he and Spencer were pulling together a few odds and ends for Ashley’s surprise birthday bash. After spending the night in the hospital with the birthday girl, they dropped her off at home early that morning and set to scheming. Grey and already been booked, the invites were out (Spencer x-naed a few names due to their “history” with her girlfriend”, and Sean committed weeks ago to four kegs. “shit, the DJ!” “already got it covered” aiden replied absentmindedly. He was deep in debate between the pink and purple party hats, evidently deciding both would be the safest choice. spencer let out a sigh of relief, after all, her attentions were being pulled in an entirely other direction. given what Ashley was going through, not to mention their lack of intimate moments since their first night together, Spencer wanted tonight to be special for her girlfriend. The handcuffs in an Abercrombie bag, lodged inside her closet, under a pile of dirty laundry that wasn’t really dirty, was a testament to that. simply put, she was going to make sure Ashley never forgot her seventeenth birthday. “Y’know, this needs to be perfectly executed,” Spencer began “Ashley’s suspicious enough as it is.” “I know!” replied Aiden “Man, I can’t wait to see her face when we get her! As Spencer and Aiden cruised the aisle’s of “Parties-R-Us”, Ashley sat, clearly bored, in a lavish, but stuffy, LA suite, overseeing the settling of her accounts. 3.1 versus 3.2 million really didn’t mean that much to her at the moment, but her mother was a gladiator, refusing to leave without the latter. Besides, she knew her two friends were planning something and there was really no way they could get her. Ashley Davies could smell a surprise party a mile away and on this day the stench was unbearable.  yes, Ashley was grieving and yes, today was her birthday. but as she lounged, patiently waiting to book it, she couldn’t help squirming in her seat, crossing her legs, and fidgeting with just about everything within her reach. her mind wandered. more specifically, her mind wandered to Spencer. Spencer naked…Spencer pushing me against the kitchen counter, hiking up my mini skirt… “Ashley! Please sign here!” “wha? oh, fuck. sorry, potty mouth. yeah…here?”  the little man in the suit had been trying to get her attention for awhile, his beady eyes boring holes into her own. She scribbled something barely legible, dotting her "i"with a heart. “You might want to make a copy of that signature. it’ll be worth millions one day” she smiled, grabbing her purse and heading for the door. “Wait! We’re not done yet” he exclaimed . Ashley groaned, sinking back into the large leather chair. Itching for some entertainment she mustered up her cell phone from the depths of her purse. she smirked devilishly as she banged out a text message to spencer, hoping she could help alleviate some of her desire.
