Death is The Beginning
<Bella's Pov>
For four hundred and nintey four years I have walked this Earth and seen many changes. These changes range from living in small houses without proper heating and lighting, to African Americans being held against there will and forced into slavery. To now, the present day, the first black president in the history of the united states. I suppose to a mortal, being able to see the world evolve from one thing to another, century after century would be all the more exciting to live for an eternity. I however find it very excruciating and if not for my Father Charlie, I would have died ages ago.
My Father is dated back to the late fourteen hundreds when witch hunting started to take place in Europe. He was an average man who worked hard as a blacksmith to support his family. His wife Renee, my older brither James, and myself, Isabella. My Mother would stay at home with both James and I and made sure that we and the house were well taken care of. We were a close family once. Later in my Father's mortal years he joined a small group of men whom dedicated themselves to hunting a local beast that had killed a number of women and children in a matter of days. It consumed him horribly. On his final night as a mortal, my Mother begged him not to go out in fear that the beast would devour him alive. He softly kissed her on the forehead and promised that this night would be his final hunt. While out hunting, the men decided to split up and give themselves some sort of advantage against the beast. Spliting up was the most nonsensical idea for them to come up with, and sadly would equal to there demise. All but my Father. Mother always said he was one of the lucky ones. 'Til this very day he will not speak of what took place that very night.
Every waking night I would head to a small but busy bar here in New York on 99 avenue B. Not to much of a mixed crowed. Mainly losers, professional losers. Bikers and they're whores, men spending there last on a beer to remove the disheartening feelings they may carry in there soul. Both killers and rapist also dwelled here. No surprise as in to why I've chosen this place. I didn't come for the "drinks" or to play a game of pool. I didn't come to watch a crapy game on a spit infested t.v.. No, I came because I loved to invite trouble in. It was always a game to me. No man (or woman if need be) could resist me. I'm so seductive and yet so deadly and yet no one knew it. I'm a slim five foot seven, glowing ivory skin, long wavy brown hair that reached the middle of my back. My eyes were green in regular lighting, but under the moonlight glowed a lavender color. Every night I sat at the same table offering myself to anyone who dared to get close to me. The table was close to an emergency exit that I often used as a quick get away for my prey and I. It was the best table at the bar. I could see everyone who entered, everyone who leaves, and those who are afraid to make it passed those doors. I first would scan the room and get a feel of everyone. Not only can I read minds, I can also read peoples energy and if I desired, I could feed on it but in doing so I'm never left satisfied. As the night becomes older, I choose which man I want. Most nights would be the rapist. Before each kill I would get to know the man. See if they could change my mind about killing them. To tell the truth that almost never happens. I like to tease my prey. Rub on they're thighs or rub my soft dead lips across they're necks. I would lead them outside to a place where no one can hear them scream ir see them die slowly. After I feed, I like to leave them with just a small amount of life and let them wrap there heads around what has happened to them. Some might even make it to being found by a random stranger in the street and be taken to the hospital. By the time they arrive at the local hospital, they're pronounced dead from an unknown cause. My kind, our marks are untraceable. After we feed, the bite disappears. This routine I repeat every nocturnal night of my life.
