Different Lives – (Chapter: First Date)

    Friday Night

Ashley (A): (why am I having such a hard time dialing this number, it is not like it is a real date anyway, so just dial) Hello

    Spencer (S):  Hello

A:  Hi this is Ashley, Pipers mom.

S: (smiling) I know who you are, so do you want to meet somewhere.

A: No, I will pick you up at your place around 10 am, just give me your address.

S:  Okay, it is 156 Jones St.  Do you know where that is.

A:  Yes, it is just a few blocks away from where I live.

S:  Great I will see you at 10am tomorrow.

    The door bell rings

A: Piper your dad is here

Piper (P): Okay I am almost ready

Aiden (Ad):  Hay Ashley how are things going

    A:  Great, but

    Ad:  But what?

A:  Okay well I met this woman, who I think is straight, but I just feel so energized when I see her.

    Ad:  She might be bi.

A:  Yeah, but, she is Piper’s teacher and I have a date, or and LA outing with her tomorrow and I am so nervous.

Ad:  Don’t be nervous, just be yourself.

A:  Yeah that easy for you to say, you already found your mate for life.

Ad:  Just because I am getting married doesn’t make my life easier.  Man you should see how crazy Mandy and her family are getting over this marriage thing.  I think that I will be broke by the time this marriage happens.

A:  Don’t worry, things will work out great, you love her don’t you.

Ad:  Yes, of course, or I wouldn’t be dealing with her family and this wedding.

A:  Good, because I was worried for a minute.

    P:  Hay dad

Ad:  Hay princess are you ready.

P:  Yeah, love you mom and see you on Sunday.

    A:  Love you too honey.

P:  Oh, and mom don’t sleep with my teacher.

    A:  Piper.

    P:  Bye mom

A:  (on the phone) Spencer I am running a little late, I should be there by say 10:30am.

S:  Okay, I will see you then. (I am glad she is running late, because I can not think of a thing to wear.  Why am I so nervous.  I am straight, aren’t I.  And besides she is straight too, because she has a daughter and an ex.)
