    “KEELY!” The dog wagged its tail vehemently and placed big wet sloppy kisses all over Ashley’s face and arms. The girl was on her hands and knees hugging the mutt and Spencer’s heart melted watching the two of them.

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    “Why don’t you go take a nap and I’ll wake you when its ready,” she said kissing Ashley on the head. “You look tired.”

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    “Hey that better not be code for I look old,” Ashley said scathingly. “But thank you I think I will go take a nap for a little bit. Please wake me up soon.”

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    She made her way to the back bedroom and Keely followed at her heels. The dog jumped on Spencer’s bed as soon as Ashley laid across the fluffy black comforter. She settled in sinking into the softness of the bed and began to drift off to sleep. Ashley must have eventually fallen asleep because she felt herself stir at the sound of Spencer’s voice.

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    “No, I don’t but yes I do need to see you, later on tonight I’m sure. Alright, see you then bye,” Ashley quickly shut her eyes as she felt Spencer move closer to her. She felt a gentle hand on her shoulder and sleepily opened her eyes, stretching out her arms.

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    “Hey you, dinner’s ready,” Spencer said brushing a stray curl off of Ashley’s forehead. Ashley reached up and captured Spencer’s lips in a long kiss that she deepened almost immediately. It was two years worth of longing all wrapped into one moment of desire. Ashley felt Spencer’s hands begin to wander down her body, her fingertips slowly exploring the exposed skin of her stomach. Ashley gently kissed the hollow of Spencer’s throat and then her collarbone. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    “Hey so are we ever going to eat?” Aiden’s deep voice called out from behind the shut door. Spencer groaned and leaned up on her elbow.

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    “We were just about to,” Ashley called out playfully and Spencer swatted her on the behind. “Why Spencer Carlin, did you just cop a feel on my ass?”

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    “I’ve been waiting to do much more than that, hope you have room for dessert,” Spencer said tracing her finger across Ashley’s lips seductively. Ashley’s mouth went dry and Spencer got up off the bed reaching out for Ashley’s hands. She pulled her up off of the bed and into her arms. The two girls stayed locked together for a few moments just holding each other. Just as they were about to walk out of the room Ashley pulled back on Spencer’s arm.

               

     

     

     

     

     

    “I can tell its been two years,” Ashley said quietly.

               

     

     

     

     

    “How so?” Spencer asked looking at Ashley and making her patented I have no idea what you’re talking about face.

               

     

     

     

     

     

    “You kiss different.”
