“I want you and only you.”

“You don’t know what you want.” She replied to the girl.

“Spencer I do know what I want.” She said through broken tears.

“If you knew what you wanted you wouldn’t have gone off to Aiden, Ash!” She screamed. “If you knew what you wanted you wouldn’t have chose him instead of me after prom.” She let out a frustrated sigh before her own tears started rolling down her cheek. Her voice went to a mare whisper, “if you knew what you wanted… you wouldn’t have been with him last night.”

“I wasn’t with him like you think I was Spencer. He came ‘round because I told him I needed to talk to him. I needed to tell him that I didn’t love him like he wanted me to, it got late and I let him stay over. I do love him Spencer, but I’m not in love with him. I’m in love with you.”

The blonde let out a smile, one that the brunette matched, but bigger. She thought she said the right thing, and in a sense she did. But she was taking things too far when she went up to kiss the younger girl. Spencer knew this felt right, she wanted it, but she couldn’t go through with it. Not now. So when Ashley leaned up to kiss her she furrowed her brow and backed off. “What do you think you’re doing?” She sat down, looking up at the love of her life. “You broke my heart Ash.”

“Spencer I never meant to hurt-”

“You never did mean to hurt me. All those times I asked you if you had feels for Aiden you said you didn’t. You know, Madison said you’d burn me.”

“I don’t have feelings for Aiden!” She screamed. After calming down and looking at the unaffected blonde she continued. “I got confused, after prom. He got shot Spence, and I couldn’t risk losing him. I was so confused it was unreal. I know I wanted you, I needed you, but I couldn’t lose him as my family and you were forcing me to make a choice-”

“You’re blaming me now?” She shot up and started making her way out of the door.
