Ashley took Spencer’s hand and led her into her bedroom.  This is the night that she would claim Spencer as hers and show her the life awaiting her.  The life that she hoped they would share together for a long time to come.

Ashley stopped just outside her bedroom door and starred into Spencer’s eyes.  At that moment she felt a warmth inside that she had never known before.  She quickly realized that this foreign feeling was the feeling of finally being whole.  The moment when all the holes dug into her soul, by years of abandonment, were finally closed up.  She’d finally found someone that loved her for who she really was and not for the person she let everyone see.  Finally someone that got past all the bullshit and tough exterior to find the lost girl inside.

A look of anticipation and uncertainty washed over Spencer’s face.  She smiled, her most sincere comforting smile, and led Spencer into her room.  As they entered Ashley kept a gentle grip on Spencer wanting to lead, but not push, giving Spencer the chance to turn around and leave…an opportunity to run before the inevitable point of no return.

Ashley leaned back against the couch in her room and pulled Spencer to her.  She knew that at this moment it would be decided whether they would finally come together or not.  Spencer looked deep into her eyes and Ashley felt her penetrate the deepest areas of her soul.  She knew at that moment that she had to make this perfect for Spencer the way she had been made to feel that first time.

One Year Earlier

Ashley lay in bed with her eyes closed and her naked body covered in a sheen of passion-induced sweat.  As the waves of pleasure passed through her she felt comforting arms hold her close as her body shook and shuttered.

Not but a few hours earlier she had been ditched at the club hating men but unsure of what she wanted.  Even with Aiden she had never felt the way she did with Maggie.  In a moment of vulnerability when anyone could have taken advantage of her the tall hot blonde girl working the door came to her aid and protected her from the advances of others.  Before she knew it they were back at Maggie’s place and in that moment between knowing what she wanted and feeling safe enough to let it happen she made a decision to let go and trust her companion.
