    Lazy, lazy, lazy.

    I couldn’t believe that what Ashley had been most worried about was the idea that I could be in love with someone else, especially because the notion was absurd. Whatever I felt for Carly was nothing more than friendly appreciation, for listening to my problems and attempting to give me advice. Nevertheless, I was happy these things were said because they had obviously been on her mind; it was good to get them out of the way.

    After lunch, we visited my mom again but the painkillers she was on made her groggy and tired, so we couldn’t stay for long.

    “Girls, you’re going to be on your own tonight for dinner,” Ben told us. “One of my brothers lives nearby, so I’m going to spend the night at his family’s home.”

    “Alright, we’ll see you tomorrow, then,” I replied. He said goodbye and then took off, leaving Ashley and I alone in the lobby of the center.

    “So, um… what do you want to do?” I asked.

    “Honestly?”

    “Uh huh.”

    “Really honestly?”

    “Yup,” I said.

    “I just want to go back to the hotel and lie down, with you obviously, and watch t.v. or talk or do something else where I can be really lazy.”

    “That sounds perfect,” I admitted. She smiled and called her driver, who picked us up a short time later and drove us back to the hotel. We got back to the room and changed into pajamas; I climbed into bed first and she followed soon after, stealing a quick kiss as she made herself comfortable. And then we just laid there for a few minutes. The television wasn’t on, we were talking… we were just there. I could see Ash was deep in thought and after another minute or so, I interrupted.

    “What are you thinking about?” I asked.

    “Why do we fight so much? And, like, so intensely?”

    “I don’t know, I never really thought about it that much before,” I told her. “But I guess I have an idea.”

    “What?” she questioned.

    “I think… I think we care about each other to the point where we’re terrified of losing each other, and that makes us act crazy and maybe irrationally sometimes.” She took the information in and nodded slightly in agreement.

    1. OKAY!!! I just want to say that I LOVE YOUR STORY. Please don’t stop writing. Everytime you posted a new chapter, I was sooo excited because me and my girl just love the way how Ashley and Spencer are with each other. I love the idea that Ashley is famous as a singer and that Spencer is a college student. I am glad that Paula is getting better and that she finally accepted Spencer and Ashley’s relationship. PMS and don’t stop writing. GREAT UPDATE!!!!!

This fanfic is by far the most realistic thing that could take place where last season’s SON ended…truely, I’m addicted to Ash and Spence mostly because of this story. (and the fact that they’re extremely hot…) Please PMS!!!

Umm, Kozmic attached please find my reasons outlining why you should not end this story:1) This story, or any story you write after this one (that’s right, I’ll definitely accept another one of your stories in place of this one should you end it) and your writing is fanfuckingtastic!2) Booyahkasha! Ashley worked it out on Spencer (why at 26 am I still using “words” like booyahkasha?).3) Meeting Lauryn Hill was easily one of my top three moments in life so a High-5 to the power of 2 for referencing “I Remember.”Please allow these reasons to marinate in your brain…and although true, pretend that reasons 2 and 3 are actually legitimate.

    25. awe man. ending it? ending this stran of this story. i’m okay with that. but as you start a new strand of this story. see the thing i like best about your stuff is you get to go on this long and beautiful evolution of these two people. even though you’ve got three stories they’re just one big story that grows and evolves and that makes me happy. it’d be cool to see em go through Ash’s absolute fame and Spence’s graduation. but if its in your heart to stop, who am i to say different. but i will say that i let out a verbal YES! when i see your name on the new post lists. and i’m very sad when its not there.
