I can’t believe school is finally over and I’m free to just relax and party with my two best friends.

Although we’re all extremely different, Madison, her cousin Carmen and I have been pretty tight since we were 16 when I first moved to LA from Ohio. So much has changed since then – I’ve come out, Madison has been on tour with Justin Timberlake, Carmen found out her girlfriend was a member of some gang and we nearly all got shot when said gang was involved in a drive-by shooting at our prom…

Things have definitely been interesting since I came to King High!

Carmen has been really great with the whole me being gay thing. It didn’t really start well though. Carmen has always known she was gay and her gaydar went off the charts when she met me, innocent little Spencer with the Catholic family and a few good looking, yet mundane boyfriends here and there. I was interested in Carmen at first – she seemed so confidant and sexy and she was unrelenting in her pursuit of me. I finally gave in one night at her house.

She kissed me.

In return I bit her lip.

This caused her to jerk her head suddenly and smash her chin into my nose.

The next hour or so consisted of me lying on her bed with a nose that would not stop bleeding and her laughing hysterically.

After that we acknowledged our lack of romantic compatibility and decided to become best friends instead. I was with a string of girls after that, but nothing really serious and I was pretty happy like that.

Since Madison and Carmen were cousins, it was only natural that mine and Madison’s friendship flourished. Although the two girls were completely different, they were really close and they found those differences refreshing. Madison often jokes that she needs to find some straight friends since she feels so left out with me and Carmen, but on more than one occasion she has made out with me to gain the attention of whatever male she has had her eye on and I’m happy to oblige. Let’s face it – Madison. Is. Hot! I’d never date the girl but it’s been so long since I’ve gotten any action, I’ll take it from wherever I can get.
