    Help? – (Chapter: Help…?)

Ok so I have a problem, there’s this girl, I wouldn’t just say girl. More like my best friend for like 3 years now. Well she was the first person I came out to, so far I’ve told her I was bi but lately I’ve never been interested in boys at all. It’s weird because I’m so certain I am even though I haven’t kissed a guy or girl. So anyways I’ve always had this little crush on her and now I think I might be fallin for her, I told her today because it was annoying how she talks about the guys she likes (All the time not to mention) so I told her I might be in love with her and she didn’t know what to say, but it hurts? I don’t think I could even be her friend if nothing would ever come from it because I can’t live knowing her heart belongs to someone else. What do I do about this :S

    1. you dont do anything. you cant. its all up to her now. i told my best friend of 7 years that i’m in love with her and she actually already knew. it does hurt to know that she doesnt and probably never love me back, but it’s okay cuz we’re still best friends. you may think that you cant be her friend, but sometimes you cant help it. i know that i’ll always be friends with the “love of my life” because we’ve always promised each other that no matter what we’re always gonna be friends. so, all you can really do is wait. continue being her friend and maybe one day she’ll turn around and realize that she’s been making a mistake by not being with you. i hope that helps…=]

    2. Get out now while you can. Nothing good will come of this at all, trust me. She’ll get a boyfriend, they’ll be with eachother forever, you’ll be left like a cunt with all these built up feelings. She’s just going to end up letting you down in the end.

    3. hm you can´t let the feeling of defeat consume u. it´s too soon to tell… probably she´s shocked and that´s not always a bad thing! just give it time. In worst case scenario she doesnt have the same feelings for u BUT u cant tell u cant stay friends with her, u dont know that. Years ago, I was with a guy and the relationship lasted around 3years, and one day we broke-up cuz we felt more like best friends than bf&gf (well, thats what he said, I really liked him) and I couldnt do anything but respect his decision. I put friendship 1st, so I chose having his friendship than having nothing, and we´re best friends til today. As much as u try to avoid her/ stop being friends with her, u´ll probably feel drawn to her anyways… when u like someone u just find the one possible way to be near the object of ur affection, will have to do… even if its just on the frienship level.

    4. Hey, our situations a pretty similar. I kind of fell for my friend and we have known each other since sixth grade. (Though I never came out to any of my friends) I may not be the best person you can get relationship advice from. But my friend has her crushes and guys have asked her out, and it hurts. But I just want her to be happy. And since your best friend talks about guys all the time I can see how that hurts a lot. You really can’t do anything; it all depends on how she feels. And if she doesn’t feel that way, it sucks. All you really can do is go step by step, and hey who knows she could turn around one day and say she feels the same way. But I wouldn’t end the friendship, you’re too young to be soul searching, live life and have fun. You have enough time in your life to find that special someone.Hope I helped you :)

    5. Its in her hands know all you can do is wait and see and even if she doesnt fell the same if this guy she likes makes her happy then you sould be happy im not saying it will be easy but with time you will move on you just have to wait and see just give it time thats all you can do

    6. All I can tell you is to wait before you decided anything. Because you never know what can happen. And I know from experince that all you can do is wait. I came out to everyone my freshman year of high school. And I told my best friend first and I had fallen for her and at first she was shocked and didnt know what to say or do. And it hurt knowing that she didnt feel the same way about me. And I did tell her that I didnt know if i could just be friends with her and have her not feel the same way. We stayed best friends and within a few months she realized that she did feel the same way about me and we have been together ever since. So the only advice I can give you is to just wait and that there is nothing you can do the ball is in her court now and just give her time. And if she doesn’t feel the same way you can still have that friendship with her because friendship should come first above all. It just takes time.

    7. okay so im probly not the best person to listen too i mean i feel were you are at trust me im in the middle of somethng totaly confusing but maybe she was just surprised and didnt know what to say maybe shes not sure if shes gay you have to give it a bit of time but whats the good in not being her freind, not being in her life at all and knowing someone has her heart or being there for her and in her life and knowing if you ask me i would stay her freind you guys just need to talk tell her how you appreciate the fact that she was so understanding about being bi,and how great of a freind she is,how its hard not to have thoose feling for her you guys need comunication it might be awkward at times but hey thats life well i hopes this works and if you want to talk more i love to listen and hopefuly help pm me and ill give you my email adress i would put it out here but then id get like 300 messeges lol :)

    8. Damn girl. Apparently we haven’t talked in a while or I totally missed out on this little dilemma. Well I am totally proud of you for owning up to your feelings and telling your friend how you feel. That takes a lot of courage in any situation. As for what you should do now, you just need to wait. Don’t go out giving ultimatums or anything cause those never work. You just need to ask her how she feels about the whole situation because honestly this thing may be pretty difficult for her as well. Even if she doesn’t reciprocate your feelings that doesn’t mean she doesn’t care for you or want to be your friend. After hearing her out you can either choose to be her friend and move on or you can give up on her all together, though you both seem to lose with the latter. If she doesn’t feel the same way about you, all you can do is try to refocus your feelings. I know it’s difficult to find someone who isn’t ‘straight’ in high school but you don’t have to worry about relationships right now. Besides I’ve found that the best things happen when you’re not even looking for them. So just do your thing and live your life cause things take time, but before you know it you’ll find someone and you never know it could just be your friend.

    9. i’m so with spashley43v3r on this. i also told my best friend i was in love with her but she already knew. she was also the first one i came out to. sadly i knew it would never be what i wanted but still having her a my best friend was worth it. it never managed to mess up our friendship either so i’d say just give it time, it’s on her now. but don’t avoid her because even though she may not feel the same that doesn’t mean that you two still can’t have a great meaningful friendship.

    10. Ugggh! Straight girl crushes are the worst! The main thing is to do right by your friendship. You’ve been honest and open with her and that’s a difficult thing to do. If she comes back to you and tells you she feels the same that’s great and the best case scenario. If not, just think how you’d feel if she broke some life changing news and then wasn’t around as your friend for whatever reason. Ultimatums are never a good idea, you may end up regretting it in the future when you’ve met the girl of your dreams but lost a friend along the way. I think you did the right thing by telling her tho’. Trust me, life is far too short to always be wondering ‘what if’. Things have a way of working themselves out and never seem as bad in hindsight…it’s getting through it that’s difficult. Take it one day, one conversation at a time. It might be hard for you and hurt if she dosen’t return your feelings. Remember that she must be a pretty special person for you to be friends in the first place, let alone fall for her, and from experience good friends stick around a hell of a lot longer than most love affairs!…..now I’m going to try and follow my own advice!…. Damn straight girls..although I’m not 100% convinced this one is :) Good Luck!!
