Ashley dragged herself back to class and sat beside Spencer. To avoid looking at the blond to her right, she just put her head on her desk and thought about what just happened in the restroom. The scene kept playing over and over in her mind. It was beginning to really piss her off. She began banging her head on the desk. Spencer looked over at her at her and reached over to put her hand on Ashley’s shoulder. Ashley felt Spencer’s hand and jerked away, looking up from her arms she shot Spencer an angered and annoyed look. Spencer retracted her hand and gazed down at her own desk in regret. The bell rang and Ashley jerked out of her seat walking briskly towards her car. Spencer tried to hurry and catch up with her.

Spencer: “Ash wait up!” Ashley continued walking. “Ashley!” Ashley stopped and turned around, Spencer caught up with her.

Ashley: “WHAT SPENCER?!! Just…what, what is it that you want?” Ashley’s eyes swelled with tears. Ashley leaned back against the wall. Spencer reached to touch the red spot on Ashley’s forehead that had developed from banging her head on the desk.

Ashley: “Spencer just don’t!!!” She waved Spencer’s hand away. “I can’t handle you touching me right now okay!!! It…It just sends too many emotions through me.” Ashley looked up and Spencer saw the tears streaming down her cheeks. “And…I know this is hard for you, but you cant keep toying with me like this. Either you want me or you don’t!”

Spencer: “I…” Spencer sighed. “I’m sorry ash. I just, I can’t do this…not here…not like this.”

Ashley: “Same excuse, huh Spence?” She asked in disbelief, through her tears.

Spencer: “It’s not an excuse!” she shouted

Ashley: “Well then enlighten me!!! Tell me what it is, if it’s not an “excuse”.” Ashley did air quotes when she said excuse. Spencer looked down. “… I want you Spence, sooo bad, and I don’t mean just physically. I feel it here too.” Ashley put her hand over her heart, tears were still falling down her cheeks. “And I know you do too.” she put her other hand over Spencer’s heart and felt that their hearts were beating in sync. Spencer took Ashley’s hand and placed it on her cheek, just feeling the brunette’s hand against her face. Tears rolled down Spencer’s cheeks. Spencer, still holding Ashley’s hand on her cheek, kissed Ashley’s hand. Ashley wiped away Spencer’s tears.
