A few days later it was time for the trip to Branson. Everyone loaded their stuff into the SUV and they were on their way to pick up Ashley.

Spencer: “I’ll go help her with the bags.” Spencer hoped out of the car.

Paula: “Aiden, shouldn’t you be helping her with her bags?” she looked back at Aiden.

Aiden: “Oh, she doesn’t like for me to help her. She like’s to think she can do anything on her own.”

Paula: “Oh…” she faced forward rolling her eyes. Glen turned to look back at Aiden.

Glen: “Dude this is SO gonna rock!” Spencer was about to ring the doorbell when the door swung open.

Spencer: “How do you always do that?” she gave a curious smile.

Ashley: “I have E.S.P when your near.” Spencer shook her head.

Spencer: “So, you ready?”

Ashley: “Yeah.” She pulled out two suitcases.

Spencer: “Need help?”

Ashley: “Uh, yeah, there’s two more bags in the living room.”

Spencer: “Two more!?!?!” Ashley continued dragging her bags to the car. Aiden got out the car and opened the trunk. Ashley looked confused.

Ashley: “Aiden? What are you doing here?”

Aiden: “Oh, they didn’t tell you? I’m going to Branson with you guys.” he smiled

Ashley: “Oh goody.” she said sarcastically, Aiden put the bags in the trunk. Ashley walked back and met Spencer halfway grabbing the other bag from her.

Ashley: “Aiden!?” she whispered angrily

Spencer: “Oh yeah, I kind of forgot to mention that.” she gave Ashley a guilty look. Ashley shook her head aggravatingly and briskly walked to the car putting the bag in. They closed the trunk and got in the car.

Paula: “So Ashley, you must be happy that Aiden gets to come along.”

Ashley: “Oh…I…words cannot describe how I’m feeling right now.” she said sarcastically, with a fake smile.
