It's Impossible To Let You Go – (Chapter: Preview)

Have you ever had this one person in your life where you just couldn’t let them go? Like it was completely and utterly impossible? I never in my life thought I’d have someone in my life that I couldn’t even think about letting go.

That is, until I met her.

“I thought we said we wouldn’t do this anymore.” My voice was tired from all this stress I could’ve avoided.

“I’m not here for sex Ash.” She says quietly as she makes herself comfortable under my covers. I take a deep breath as soon as her legs make contact with mine, no matter what I say, I still love the sensation she sends through my body.

“Then why are you here?” I ask quietly. My eyes haven’t even opened; I don’t think I want them to either. I know if I do, I wouldn’t be able to resist her.

    But I have to.

“I miss you.” It’s so easy for her to say things to me, knowing I’m putty in her hands. I can’t give in this time though, I have to be strong.

    No matter what it takes.

“I’ve been with you every day Spence.” I reply, breathing as evenly as would deem normal.

“Yeah, I know…but I miss being with you.” And that’s the problem. I can hear the pout in her voice. But I won’t give in.

    I promised myself.

    We promised each other.

“You know…You know why we can’t Spencer.” I think of the best words to fill the silence that was about to ensue.

“I do…but that doesn’t mean that I can’t still think about you.” Her voice sounds so vulnerable. It takes everything in me not to give her anything she wants.

Even if it’s killing me in the process.

“No, I guess not.” I squeeze my eyes tighter, cursing the words that just left my mouth.

I feel the feather light touch of her hand caressing my cheek. No matter how much I want to look into her pools of blue, I can’t.

    I won’t.

“Hold me.” She whispers; suddenly close enough for me to feel her breath on my lips.

    1. Continue for the people who can tolerate Spencer and Aiden as a “real” couple. I can’t stomach it but the first chapter was a good start. Good luck with the story.
