Ashley’s POV

I can’t believe that I just performed in front of everyone like that and I wasn’t even nervous. I couldn’t take my eyes off of Spencer the whole time. I just focused on her and my nerves were calmed. When Spencer’s around things are so simple. It felt like her and I were the only people in the room the whole time. I really like her but I don’t think it would work out. I mean, c’mon she’s two years younger than me and she’s my sister’s best friend. Who am I kidding? She probably doesn’t even feel the same way. Oh crap here she comes now.

"Hey, you were great!"

"Really?"

"Of course! Your voice..it’s…it’s beautiful."

"Aw, thank you, that’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever said to me about my voice."

"Well get used to it your voice is amazing!"

"Thanks. So are you staying over?"

"Yep. Sure am!"

"Sweet!"

"Yeah, I better go find Kyla and see what she’s up to."

"Yeah, I haven’t seen here in a while."

Spencer’s POV

I wonder where Kyla could have wandered off to. I look everywhere until I see her making out with some guy I don’t really know, I think his name’s Alan…no….AJ….no that’s not it…..um…..AIDEN..yeah Aiden Dennison. Total jock. I decide to leave her alone it looks like she’s having fun. I’ll grill her about it later. I’m gonna go see Ashley again.

"Hey, I found her."

"Where was she?"

"She actually was in a liplock with some Aiden Dennison guy."

"Aiden! Oh, my God, Kyla’s had a crush on Aiden since like Kindergarten. Let’s go see her."

"Okay, she’s over here." I said as I took Ashley by the hand to bring her to Kyla.

"WOO WOO! YOU GO GIRL!" Ashley yelled over to Kyla, who looked up and blushed.

"I wouldn’t be talkin’, Ash"

"What are you talking about?"

"AHEM" She cleared her throat, motioning for us to look down at our fingers, which were still intertwined. As we saw this, we quickly let go and looked away blushing

"Are you guys ready to get outta here?" asked Ashley, obviously attempting to change the subject.

"Yeah." I said

"Yeah, me too, bye Aiden" Kyla said sweetly "I’ll call you later!"

"C’mon, Lovergirl!" Ashley said How can you not love this girl? If your reading this and falling in love with her, BACK OFF! She’s mine.

When we got back to Kyla’s, I was about to open my door when Ashley quickly got out and opened it for me. Kyla saw this and she winked at me and mouthed Told you she likes you I mouthed back Whatever

"Thank you" I said sweetly to Ashley

"Anytime"

When we got in the house Kyla and I went up to her room and Kyla grinned ear-to-ear and jumped on her bed

"What are you so happy about?" I asked her

"Aiden Dennison asked me out on a date!!"

"That’s great! Ashley told me you’ve had a crush on him since Kindergarten!"

"Not that long! First grade! Speaking of Ashley what was up with you two tonight?"

"What do you mean?"

"First of all you guys were together the whole night, second of all I saw how Ashley stared at you and you stared at her the whole time she was singing AND I saw that little smoochy-smoochy you gave her when I was out in the car and you guys were inside."

"You did?!?!"

"Yeah, you guys are totally in love with each other!"

"Nuh-uh."

"Yeah, you totally are!"

"Whatever."

"You still won’t deny it!"
