"I would say, I love you Spencer"

Spencer’s POV

I can’t believe Ashley just told me that she loves me. I’m pretty sure that I love her, but do I tell her? Or is it too soon? What am I so afraid of? I’m afraid that she’ll break my heart. Oh, well, I’m putting my fears behind and I’m putting myself out there. I’m giving my heart to Ashley Davies.

"I-I love you too Ashley." This put a smile on her face which out a smile on my face. Smiles were something that is a chain-reaction with Ashley. You can;t see her smile without putting a grin on your face.

"So, will you be my girlfriend?"

"OF COURSE!" I said pulling her into a romantic kiss.

"I could get soo used to this." She said after I ended the kiss.

"Me too." I said, pecking her on the cheek.

"Oh, here comes the sunset!" She said, protectively enclosing me in her arms

"It’s so beautiful!"

"As are you."

"Ashley, you are too sweet!"

"When’s your birthday?" she randomly asked me

"December 17th, your’s?

"November 25th" she replied "What’s your favorite color?"

"Blue, yours?"

"Green."

"What’s your biggest fear?" I asked her

"Not living up to people’s standards."

"Why’s that?" I asked, curious

"Because, my whole life, I’ve been responsible for Kyla, since our mom is never around and my dad is, you know, and basically Kyla was all that I had, and I was all that she had. So I have to make sure I send off a good image, you know. So I worked so hard in school, made sure Kyla did everyting she’s supposed to do, made sure she was hanging out with the right people, I basically had to be Kyla’s mom, since God knows our mom does a crappy job at that. But it’s been easier, since she’s older and everything, but I’m still afraid if I’m not the perfect Ashley, I’ll let everyone down."

"Oh wow."

"Yeah, but it’s just different, with you. Like when I’m with you I just feel like I can be myself and be, just loved for me, and not who everyone thinks I am."

"Well I’m glad you feel that way." I said "Don’t you think it’s weird how, one day, you have no idea what love is about and why people make such a big deal about it, and before you know it, you find someone who shows you what it’s all about and you suddenly understand why people make such a big deal of it?"

"Yeah it’s amazing how fast love can come at you." she said as we just looked into each others eyes. Her eyes look so beautiful in the reds and oranges of the sunset.

"Ashley, I love you, so so much that it scares me how fast that these feelings came"

"I also love you so so much that it scares me."

When it was time, Ashley and I left the beach, on our way back to my house so I could make curfew. When Ashley pulled into my drive, she turned and looked at me.

"Bye Spencer, I had a great time tonight. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to open up to someone like that."

"Glad I could help, bye Ashley."

We both leaned over and met in the middle for a romantic, soft, beautiful kiss.

"I love you." She whispered in my ear

"I love you, too" I whispered back. "Bye Ashley, I’ll call you tomorrow"

"Bye Spence."

When I got out of the car I went inside and went straight up into my room, when I got inside, I sighed happily, and fell back on my bed.

"Have a good night?" I forgot Kyla was here. Great now she’s gonna make me tell her all about my night.

"Yeah."

"Tell me ALL about it."

"Well, she asked me to be her girlfriend!"

"Oh, my God, what did you say?"

"I said YES, duh!"

"EEEEEEEEKK OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH!! Tell me more!"

"Well we kinda told each other that we love each other."

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Aww, I’ve never seen anyone make my sister so happy!! Did she kiss you?"

"Ummm, yeah."

"SO ADORABLE!!!"
