8:00 AM Class Is Starting

A teacher stands infront of her class looking at all of the students for the new year in school. Her name is Mrs. James, she begins to speak. "Welcome back students! Hope everyone had a great, enjoyable summer. I see some new faces this year, and what better way to get to know everyone than by standing up and telling us a little about yourselves! And if you aren’t a new face… you still have to do it", Mrs. James joked.

The whole class lets out a big sigh making the teacher feel uncomfortable. "Well the loudest of those sighs seems to be coming from …Hmmm OH! Ashley’s direction!" she stated in a sarcastic tone. Ashley stands up.

"Ok so the name’s Ashley, and I’ve been at king high for hmm, 3 years now. I like this school as much as the people in it like me and.." The teacher interupts, "OK! moving on, Spencerrrr Carlin? You must be new!" Ashley sits down upset at the teacher cutting her off. Spencer hesitates a little but gets up.

"Well umm, well my name is Spencer, and I just moved here from Ohio. LA is really different but I kinda like it. I have two brothers and…"

"She didn’t ask for a life story new girl!" Ashley blurts out.

The whole class laughs and Spencer looks down embarassed. She doesn’t speak for the rest of the class. The bell rings.

Spencer walks out heading for her locker when a voice calls out to her. A tall man with black hair runs up to her.

"HEY! wait up!"

"Who? ME?" says Spencer

Spencer takes one look at Aiden and thinks… GOD this guy is hot!

"You’re new here aren’t you? I saw you this morning walking into school."
"Yep that’s what most kids do when they get here, they… walk into school."
"Ha. Well I just wanted to introduce myself!"

Aiden puts out his hand and Spencer gladly reaches for it when she hears a voice coming out of the crowd.

"Um excuse me? What’s this?"
Aiden pulls his girlfriend into a hug, "Nothing babe, just making friends with our newest classmate here"

Spencer heard the word "babe" Aiden is obviously taken.
